I'd like to promote this earring for all the darks out there. The MP loss isnt really an issue compared to the extra HP STR given. Probably one of the best earrings to use together with Souleater.
For anyone who has this earring you understand what i mean by solo 1-10 is amazing with this on and Rolanberry pie's as food. +50 HP at that level is a god send.
As a taru PLD, this earring more then pays for itself whine in party, Soloing, or whatever your doing. and the extra MP a taru gets you wont even miss the 50 MP loss
Situational, but this can be a good earring for a Blue Mage cannonball set, if you can afford the MP loss. Also nice on melee jobs if you've merited MP.
If you can throw out the gill there are only a handfull of options to get + STR in the ear slow, and they are all at MUCH higher levels and max is + 2 >_>
Also, best thing to have in the ear slot for DRK zerg >_>

It may almost be enough MP for another Cannonball but that's only an issue if you're at full MP. After you've used up the 50MP this earring becomes the best Cannonball earring you can get imo.
While this is a good earring for certain circumstances, the people who fulltime this on a job that doesn't necessarily get the full benefit from it JUST to have an expensive earring equipped need to think twice.
