@Karbuncle: Koenig has a +3 to enmity. That's one extra second of VE on your vokes. I currently use Koenig but I've been considering switching over to this shield. It has only marginally lower defense the same shield size and a guaranteed -2% damage taken down. Koenig's VIT is not going to give you -2 % DT. I'm personally ranking this OVER Koenig at first glance.
I got one augmented with Enemy Critical Hit Rate -4% in VoS, so it's still my choice at the moment. I like that it prevents 2% of all damage types, not just physical.
Truthfully a terrible shield for party situations, thanks to Koenigs/Terror's large Enmity boost.
However for solo, this isn't TERRIBLE. it's a toss up because even though it has less DEF than the other two its a tower shield and has a higher base Damage reduction that pulls it ahead of Koenig/terror.
That being said, best to just avoid this shield, maybe try and augment it for fun, but it's not an overall useful shield.
