Egacent, not to dis what you said, alls pretty much true, but you mean, SE is trying with this to get Nin back to its original intent, which is DD with a DoT focus. The player base made it what it is tankwise. Perhaps the augments Yonin and Innin will make those abilities as they were when first unveiled. Most likely not. Time and players will tell.

Unfortunately nobody has of yet has posted the statistics of "Augments Yonin" and "Augments Dual Wield".

But this piece has Katana skill and accuracy AS WELL AS haste+7%. This further contributes to my theory that Ninja are in for a severe role change from shadow tank back to DD/DoT.

The only major thing this set (as of the 85 update) is lacking is ninjutsu bonuses, whether damage%+/skill/accuracy. I expect these stats will be added with the next update where presumably the body and hands of the Empyrian sets will be added.

:D I'm pretty happy with them, this and my V.belt alone puts me at 13% haste, that's more then half the people I see in Abyssea with when I do parties for time.
