No longer Active shooter reported in San Bernadino, Calif.
you have a Swedish flag, can only assume you mean that county as the EU is not like the USA.
You don't need to assume anything, I wrote Europe in my post.
You don't get this type of violence on a weekly basis. Wow, the death count is up to 14 already and 14 injured.
Bomb technicians on the scene, multiple shooters (up to 3), manhunt for the suspects now. I was getting ready for bed, but now I might follow this story for a bit. I'm curious on the motive (or any legitimate speculation) here, besides terrorizing and killing people. well if you want to go with all of EU then violence of this sort happens more often that you are letting on.

If your answer to this is they started it; you need to stop being petty and have some respect for humanity. And just maybe a little faith that not everyone is happy about people being shot. I tend to wonder if peoples' positions on gun control are a direct translation of their fight or flight instincts, in that half want to try to get someone else's help in conflict resolution and the other half would rather confront it themselves.

Seems to be pointing to what you all do not want to hear. I got some stream from Yahoo on in the background. No descriptions of the suspects yet. They just keep going on about how mysterious the motive is, how it seems it was planned, and comparing it to the Paris attacks.
Oh, they might have gotten on a suspect, or something unrelated with officers, or perhaps a pursuit may be going on. https://www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/12443/web
You can listen to police feed directly through this link. They saying police chase now. Appears to be middle eastern decent. No one here sympathizes with jihadists or any other religious extremists Nor with their crazy political views I really don't understand where you get this ***from. Also just because he's brown doesn't mean he's a radical Muslim. We don't know what the motive is yet, it's too early to say. If they are jihadists then no one here will excuse this like you seem to think. It's an ABC live stream Yahoo is playing. They just showed some dead body and a black SUV that just got shot out from police.
No description on the suspect(s) from them yet, can't really tell from the dead body they showed. Ok, news conference now. Let's see if she says anything useful. I really hope that it's not related to Islamic State, I'm tired of hearing all of this ***when we were told they were no longer deemed a threat.
From scanner feed sound0 slike 1 dead on street, 1 dead in car, chasing one on foot.
One is apparently in the trunk and still breathing
The one that they said had a AK 47 strapped to chest laying in back?

That worked so well in Stalin's Russia, Mao's China and Hitler's Germany. Someone doesn't understand the difference between a constitutional republic and a dictatorship... Why do you want people to be defenseless? LOL... You are defenseless, and if you think differently, you're insane. You're the guy that brings a knife to a gunfight. You're who that phrase is aimed at. Uh, no. you're the guy that brings a gun to a nuclear missile and autonomous drone fight and thinks he can win. Unless you're trying to argue that the 2nd amendment protects the first amendment against burglars. Even if gun control was passed, criminals wouldn't turn in their illegally acquired weapons, you'd only be screwing the honest citizens over while turning homes into big fat juicy targets.
EDIT: Thinking about it, yeah I think there needs to be some regulation, a citizen should be allowed to own something like a rifle or sporting gun for things like hunting or personal defense, under no circumstances should anyone be allowed to own things like an UZI or an AK. You don't own those things for any real purpose, you can never really take them out to shoot them, they'd just sit in a closet/safe and collect dust until you took them out to be cleaned and then MAYBE taken to the gun range to fire like 20 rounds until you realize "Man getting ammo for these kinds of weapons is tough* Yatenkou said: » Even if gun control was passed, criminals wouldn't turn in their illegally acquired weapons, you'd only be screwing the honest citizens over while turning homes into big fat juicy targets. sadly some people think more laws can rid the world of weapons and violence. If less people have guns then less criminals will need guns for normal crimes since they're less likely to get shot and having a gun on them would just add to their time if they're caught.
You also need better rehabilitation for prisoners and and integration back into society to lower recidivism. Certain laws need to be changed (such as mandatory minimums and drug sentences) so first time offenders (and non-violent ones) don't turn into worse criminals because they get sent to prison. There's a lot that needs to be done but it doesn't seem like anyone is interested in doing it. Are you serious with that? Yes.
Also several houses are being evacuated now after a pipe bomb has been found Fully automatic weapons are already pretty heavily regulated compared to semiauto and otherwise non-automatic weapons. You can't legally register a fully automatic firearm manufactured after 1986(or so) and instead must find a weapon that was already registered prior to that year, as those are the only fully automatic weapons that are legally transferable.
Any other automatic weapon is already technically illegal. Bismarck.Dracondria said: » Yes. With all due respect Draco, you're a fool if you think that's what's going to happen. Our criminals certainly don't bring guns when they break in but I guess Americans can't help themselves
