This is as bad as the THF rudra days. When you have a bunch of I just leveled this cause RUDRA boom win players. There were plenty of longtime THF players that were very upset at being the flavor of the month because you can tell who knows how to play the job and who doesn't. The Flocks of BST for the most part are unskilled players that only see one path. Maybe some of you are right maybe they need to make the job more complicated to balance it out to get more out of it. The way it is now is just garbage and I am sure that longtime BSTs probably think the same thing.
Well frankly during the whole debacle I was more upset with how everyone was saying that poorly geared thfs were doing the amount perfect geared thfs were doing, which then escalated to fictitious average numbers based on screen shot of well geared thfs showing their highest rudra they could get on targets that take extra damage.

Even then the rudra nerf was an over nerf. For one thing it wasn't just rudra's as mercy stroke, shark bite, and mandalic stab were also nerfed and by no ones standards over powered. Also nerfing mandalic stab felt like a slap in the face as the only people it actually hurt were mythic holders. Anyway as for rudra's itself while they got the ftp right for 1000 tp the 2000 and 3000 were too low. It should have been changed to 5/12.5/15

I wish they'd add VW Kupons. There are still a couple of VW drops that I'm like 0/200 on which I'd like to have. At this rate maybe they will.

LOL what if November's login campaign is Kupon-W's? :D

I'm thinking they will do something big for November's, maybe currencies, like 100's or Alex purses.

Man, they were hard at work telling us no today.

For the Skirmish Stone and Arcane Glyptics Campaign, does anyone know if this has been done before? Specifically, the wording makes it seem like it is possible to better augments than previously possible, however I feel like this isn't the case. Maybe chances for not ***augments are just better?

In a future version update, we are planning to adjust the system so that players can receive (Tarut) cards once per day (Earth time).

Quote:
In the September version update, we will be introducing an NPC which will allow players to turn in their unwanted equipment in return for accolades. The Unity: Wanted loot is included in the list of items that can be turned in.

The timer feature was created so that it only applies to status icons on your character. We currently have no plans to expand on the system to display timers for other party members.

Quote:
We have no plans to adjust the acquisition rate of voidstones. It's possible to obtain void dust through multiple avenues, so we'd like everyone to make use of these methods.

Quote:
We have no plans to add a system that would display identifiers to help differentiate which songs are active.

Quote:
We have no plans to add in a feature that would act like bard’s job ability “Pianissimo” and allow a corsair to put a phantom roll on a specific player.

Quote:
This magic (high tier banish) was specifically created for use by enemies and monsters. We have no plans to make these spells usable by players.

Despoil is setup in a way so that when it misses, it’ll steal TP from your target. The process that steals an item occurs before the process that steals TP, therefore the rate at which items are stolen has not been adjusted and this ability is working as intended.

Quote:
We have no plans to add any of the abjuration armor pieces to the list of items purchasable with sparks.

The development team has no plans to add a final fishing-related objective that would award a title and/or an item(s).

Announcing the September Version Update

Greets, adventurers! This is Matsui, here to give you a rundown of the upcoming September patch.

Hopefully you’ll find this patch full of exciting new content, quality of life adjustments, and a wide array of other additions and adjustments to make your treks throughout Vana’diel better than ever.

First off, the date! The development and quality assurance teams are working to meet our target of September 16.

As I alluded to above, the meat of this patch lies in new battle and quest content, various job adustments, and quality of life improvements.

First, the quest In the Land of the Blind will see the conclusion of one of Adoulin’s several continuing storylines. As with other ultimate chapters, In the Land of the Blind will provide those who complete it with a special item commensurate with their efforts. If you haven’t been following the story since its inception, I encourage you to take this opportunity to explore this little slice of Adoulin.

Continuing down the last, we’ll be adding rank 6 monster rearing to your Mog Gardens, accompanied as always by new monster types: behemoths and bombs. Those dedicated to rearing their creatures may see them grow up to become fearsome erasmoths or snolls and terrorize the countryside—or at least your Garden.

Those dedicated to pursuing the thrill of battle will not want to miss two new high-tier mission battlefields: one featuring Omega nad Ultimate, and the other Promathia. Whether you want to relieve the battles of eld or get your feet wet for the first time, there’s now even more reason to time up with your comrades and tackle these deadly threats.

Further battle content includes new notorious monsters for both Wanted battles and Geas Fete, an additional way to receive rewards from Vagary, a decrease in enemy HP when tackling Incursion and Delve in low-man parties, and an increase in time limit for players attempting Einherjar with fewer than six players. With content both new and old at your disposal, there’s something for everyone!

While job adjustments this go around are focused or parameter adjustments, geomancers and rune fencer will surely be tickled to hear that we’re finally adding job emotes for Adoulin’s newcomers! We’re sorry that it’s taken so long, but I hope you’ll be pleased with the results!

System-side improvements include the display of timers on status buff icons, the ability to independently resize multiple log windows, a function to company the attributes of a selected item with that currently equipped, and much more!

We’re all burning the night oil to make sure the content gets to you as soon as possible, so mark the date in your calendar and get your soda and chips ready!

The following is a list of items to be implemented in the September version update. Some content is currently undergoing testing, and certain entries may not be implemented if last minute bugs are encountered or any balance issues rear their heads.

Mission and Quest-related

Area and Monster-related

Content and System-related

Battle-related

Item-related

UI-related
