i do! it's really fun. especially /thf and sa spirit taker. it just sucks that unless i'm soloing for fun there's no use in going smn. i remeber soloing e-vase-ive action on smn and how awesome i thought it was. now it's only good for 2 regen atmas and sticking avatars on nm's in vision zones =/ I loved it so much I pretty much did any/everything to perfect it. Then brd came along and i got a huge Hardon for it lol. Last time I was smn for an event was... When i first joined ex adn we were trioing Temp.

OMG ROFLLLLLLLLll I hated that *** SO MUCH. Not only was getting to her a pain but her levi's Tidal Wave is epic. I had a SS of all of us wiping to it. ROFl good times
26 yalm 2.6k damage with ss and barwater. shared hate with avatar AND a misspelled name. oh lamie no. 9 you glorious over powered ***. it was like our AV. Yup and that B*tch would never put out too. It was very fun though lol
yeah. i've still only ever seen like 2 pairs of those gloves. funny to think about how much time we spent trying to get smn just right and now nothing we did is really applicable. smn is still pretty *Decent* if you have the right atmas. shiva is a beast. Yeah hahaha what are you doing atm?
sitting on my alt on siren. level 30... i need to get toau access so i can unlock. i refuse to log on to ragnarok atm =/. you? wtf why are you lvling an alt on siren? I'm just on fb lol
i dunno tbh... i guess i miss being a hume? i know someone else who started leveling an alt on siren so i did. like i said, i refuse to log on rag, and i'm addicted to ffxi so i have to log on somewhere =/

For Atomos' 2-hour ability, what if it was like an AoE warp that it would use on mobs, similar to the way that warp worked in Final Fantasy XII? Hypothetically, I feel like it could be used in oh-***situations. I mean, we don't know what the new content will bring, it could be applicable.

It's all speculation (I think) at this point, but it will be interesting to see which element Cait Sith is going to be related to.
Summoner already has more than one Light-based Avatar (Carbuncle, Alexander) and more than one Dark-based Avatar (Fenrir, Diabolos, Odin). Seems it would be pretty lame to add another Avatar with one of those elements.

Atomos used Soul Vacuum and Soul Infusion.
Quite possible that unless they add in an ability specifically for a summonable atomos, it would be draining the stats from a mob (not to the extent that Atomos does on in the battle) then granting what it drains to the summoner, if not the whole party.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but since Cait Sith is going to be a normal avatar (non-2hr), what kind of Avatar's Favor are you all hoping for? I was thinking Regain since we already have Regen/Refresh favors...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cait's favor being Cure potency +
so rdms and schs can pretend to cure as good as a whm can. As much as I would like to see a regain favor i just don't see it happening.

Okay... Cait Sith.. WHY? There were so many choices for summons like Bahamut (in almost every single FF game and summonable), Phoenix, Ixion (The ones in the game now are all diff names, obvious not gonna be a summon but would have been better than cait sith :(), the list goes on and on. Atomos is cool though, I don't see him being very useful though. He only did stat drains in the one bcnm.
