Okay... Cait Sith.. WHY? There were so many choices for summons like Bahamut (in almost every single FF game and summonable), Phoenix, Ixion (The ones in the game now are all diff names, obvious not gonna be a summon but would have been better than cait sith :(), the list goes on and on. Atomos is cool though, I don't see him being very useful though. He only did stat drains in the one bcnm.

Atomos is probably going to have abilities like comet I'm hoping.
As for Caitsith well... Carbuncle 2.0, Maybe it'll have the same abilities as Caitsith Ceithir in the bcnm.
I'm not sure how Atomos' astral flow ability is going to go though, because it'd be similar to Ruinous omen if I remember correctly.. Gforce 199 was it?

ToAU - Odin and Alexander
WoTG - Cait Sith and Atomos
They could add Bahamut for CoP but they stated before that they wanted him to be an enemy only to keep his 'godlike' stature. Though they said the same thing for Odin and Alexander, they may add in future.
But for the reason of Cait Sith and Atomos, only ones from WoTG

Ixion was from WOTG lol, would have been a better choice. I mean, I love Cait Siths character in the story, I really do. I just don't feel she would make a good avatar >.>

cait would obviously be a normal play avatar (hasnt cait been sumoble in other ff games) while atomos would be another 2 hour based one. Imagine all the mithra and taru smn running around with their own cait following behind.
There is already 2 Light based ones so might be neutral element
I wish they had just said "two new avatars" and not say which ones. The speculation and guessing is always part of the fun.

He'll come in riding a HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE pink cat and give your party random Cor rolls. Eventually he'll be relegated to warming the bench and only being used as a novelty.

Do you mean the prelude to a storm mission? I soloed that on BLU with AOE spells (was pre whirl of rage which will make it a breeze, body slam, grand slam etc)

There's yet to be an equivalent to Apocalypse Nigh covering ToAU and WotG.
Anyone who has done the missions should know the obvious bridge between the storylines, plus a little certain knighting ceremony from the epilogue avatar fights involving you-know-who (not voldemorte) is something they left hanging.

That isn't a battle, its a CS. The one I soloed is right after that CS.

Your profile says you have BLU no? You can do it really easily on BLU/RDM. Cocoon + phalanx + tav taco = 0 dmg from normal melee hits basically. Just spam whirl of rage and battle dance/grand slam.
