She stays outside unless it's freezing cold then she is brought in to sleep in one of the other rooms. We got lucky with her, she will kill snakes and mice, rarely birds never squirrels (though we will if there are too many, yum) and I once saved a baby rabbit from her...and sneezed for the next two days. If I had to pick between the cat and the four yorkies, I love dogs but I'd pick the cat, she never makes a damn sound. Four Yorkies. Wow. How do you have the energy to own four Yorkies? no wonder he mod's all day 24/7. the guy can't sleep I used to put my harness on the cat we had and put my he_man on him go battlecat !
I want to hug every scientist that has come up with this analysis and buy them a beer. Today and everyday, they are the true heroes.
edit: And by the way, I've been saying this for years. We need to off-set the cat pics...
You're forgetting the origin of He-man. Matel made a bunch of toys for the Conan movie, but decided that it was too violent for children to see, so they couldn't market the toys. BLAM! Cartoons made just to sell toys were born. Edit: Whoops. I'm wrong. It was based on Conan, and the subject of a law suit, but not intended for Conan, the way I had been told for years. Quote: In 1980, the rights-holders of Conan the Barbarian began negotiating the character's toy rights with Mattel. They entered in an agreement the following year regarding characters from the Conan movie. Upon Mattel introducing a toy line starring He-Man, the rights-holders sued the toy company claiming the character was a copy of Conan. Mattel eventually won the lawsuit. Howard (creator of Conan) could have made an argument FOR Matel in that case. Because according to him, Conan was self-made. He was all that is man. Strong, smart, woman-taking. He didn't need any *** mysticism helping him. He was perfect on his own. That's not to say there aren't occasionally cats like that, but I don't expect it. I agree...a cat is fine, too. Oh wait. >.>;; YouTube Video Placeholder Pandas cause why the *** not. Truthfully, most people I know who have pets and actually care for them properly have no problem with cats or dogs.
My family has always been a dog family, but my parents currently live in a duplex with another family who has both cats and dogs, and they've more or less adopted the cat; not by their design or because the "owning" family mistreats it; Roxie (the cat) just seems to like being in the basement area with the dogs more. To the point where they've collectively decided that they comumunally buy cat/dog food and all the pets just eat at one central location now. So basically, it's the cat's decision where she wants to be. Which I think was the point of the thread in the first place. Roxie don't care. Roxie do what Roxie want. Despite personal preferences, living without a pet is like being in a room without windows. It feels unnatural.
EDIT: Now I want to go to the shelter this weekend. Thanks, AH! Thanks! Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Despite personal preferences, living without a pet is like being in a room without windows. It feels unnatural. Also to be fair: birds are disgusting creatures that carry diseases, let them be murdered.
