Congrats, Tiddies!
Ha I just realised I read that password wrong when you were trying to help me with shackles, I thought it said Tiddles.

I remember why I quit trying, *** Ludwig man...*** Ludwig. God damn it that bloody jump attack.
I'm bored of Ludwig, will anyone be my saviour? D=
I could possibly help. What level is your character in Bloodborne?
247
I got his health bar down the the y in 'Holy' D= Jesus 247 o.o; I uhh, I don't think I can help you. I'm only in the 160s on NG+3.
I guess I just suck then.
I don't get it though, I never struggled on any Bloodborne boss like this.
Tides, if you're still around in an hour, I'll log into BB and see if my character has reached the DLC region in its current playthrough.
Does the level difference matter even when using a password? Never tried, can always give it a shot. Maybe you'll be able to see what I'm doing wrong.
I beat Ludwig first try lol. It was NG+ but my lv was somewhere around 100-150, so I could take hits and learn the fight first try without getting one-shot.
Artorias, on the other hand...I first tried him in NG+4 lol. Which NG are you in, Tides? NG+3 I think, also disclaimer:
I was pretty sure the summoning range mattered in Bloodborne, but lemme look it up.
Ok, I guess it doesn't matter with a password. Whoops lol. I guess I could have helped. Also, just as an anecdote, I found the final DLC boss and the optional DLC boss both far harder than Ludwig.
Edit: replace honey with Tiddies. I do wonder if it's just one of those times where you just don't get used to the boss mechanics so it ends up being a lot harder than it should be.
Well the cool thing about the Bloodborne fights is that most of them separate into distinct phases. Like two bosses in one. Two sets to learn!
I one-shot all the dlc bosses, except the optional one, whom I had to properly learn.
After all the struggles of Ludwig, the Living Failures were a breeze, just parried the crap out of them which really suits my runes, Visceral Damage +30%, Visceral Attacks restore HP+300 and Visceral Attacks grant QS Bullets +3.
EDIT: Just learning Maria's pattern, seems like I can parry her to death. EDIT2: Ehh Maria wasn't too tough, got annoyed at her blood + fire form where I would parry her but her follow through staggered me so I missed a visceral. It was beautiful ending the fight with a visceral though. Orphan of Kos can suck a ***, *** any boss that can kill you in 2 hits.
