I don't have a ragnarok yet, still in the process. That being said, I've heard that it works much like catastrophe in that it's more beneficial to stack attack/str than ws mods UNLESS your attack is capped, or near cap at least.

That's true, it's a god awful Ws if you're stacking only mods, you want to try get atleast equal or more str alongside attack. With Valhalla In dynamis - Xarcabard, I was getting Scourges at 800-1000 with a high of 1500, that being said I forgot a few pieces of gear ><

I'm mathing Rag vs Apoc

During a VW zerg do Rag owners:

Keep AM up? Or just once at the start or never?
What do you sub?

Whats the ideal TP set look like?

this is what i'm using atm for TP set, i'll post WS set in a sec

This is WS set for Scourge, It needs work but MND/CHR is a tough one on DRK lol
Why are you using a lot of this ?
Pole grip, Houyi's gorget and Hagneia stone x.x

TP:

13,8 tp return each hit isn't abit too low?
Give up the mars's for a tyrant maybe?
Always if you do not use that set only with vwnm and the proper regain atma up then, my bad.

I have a different TP set for outside of VW.

Always have double march/haste with this set tho so I'm always capped delay. I don't care about STP when I swing as fast as I do with Ragnarok. TP isn't really an issue. Full AF3 for AF3 set proc

Sets like this would not be effective at all on higher tier VW. (maybe lower tier lol)

Based on my math yesterday a Rag DRK should have 3-4 diff sets for TP, 1-2 for WS.

Does anyone have a full DRK spellcast I can steal, including AM up/down from Apoc. Too lazy to check if one has been posted before.

I'd be interested in SpellCast examples as well. I'm still deciding on builds, and still need a few items to test, but presently I'm using a macro to switch to Aftermath. I would really like to have this all automated.

The Windower page used to have tons of examples, and now there aren't many that are even slightly useful. I suspect most are completely outdated.

The best way to automate it is using autoexec.

in auotexec: <register event="losebuff_aftermath" silent="true">input /ma "Comet" <t></register>

in spellcast: <if spell="Comet">

then inside that you can follow it up with <if buffactive="Aftermath">
So the spell comet or whatever spell tickles your fancy becomes your new tp set. Your ingame macros to equip your tp set would be /ma "Comet" <me>.

Furthermore to adjust your tp set this way you establish variables which you change in your trigger spell.

example:
Code
 <if mode="AND" EquipMain="Amanomurakumo" buffactive="aftermath">
				<var cmd="set TPHead Zelus Tiara"/>
				<var cmd="set TPNeck Ganesha's Mala"/>
				<var cmd="set TPBody Unkai Domaru +2"/>
				<var cmd="set TPWaist Bullwhip Belt"/>
				<var cmd="set TPFeet Ace's Leggings"/>
				<var cmd="set TPBack Misuuchi Kappa"/>
			</if>
So your tp set would be something like
Code
<set name="Melee" BaseSet="Idle">
		<ammo>Hagneia Stone</ammo>
		<head>$TPHead</head>
		<neck>$TPNeck</neck>
		<lear>Unkai Mimikazari</lear>
		<rear>Brutal Earring</rear>
		<body>$TPBody</body>
		<hands>Brego Gloves</hands>
		<lring>Rajas Ring</lring>
		<rring>Tyrant's Ring</rring>
		<back>$TPBack</back>
		<waist>$TPWaist</waist>
		<legs>Unkai Haidate +2</legs>
		<feet>$TPFeet</feet>
	</set>

At the end of the if I put <cancelspell/> so you don't actually try to cast comet.

If I lost you at all feel free to PM me.

I'm pretty sure someone confirmed that double attack has a chance to proc on every hit with resolution, so that would make pole grip way better than claymore.(if it wasn't better already, considering you're not using a crit ws..)
