I am trying to log on and it says notifying lobby server of current selections right after i select my character. then it stays like this for like 3 minutes

then i get error code ffxi-3113 protocol time out error.

the first time got an error saying that cannot connect to server..


Whats going on? thanks anyone who can help

I'm getting the same here on Siren. I retried right after getting that error and it gave me FFXI-3305 "Unable to connect to world server. Specific operation failed."

I'm getting the following errors:

Error code: FFXI-3305
Unable to connect to world server.
Specified operation failed.

Error code: FFXI-3113
Protocol time error.

So.. the server is having technical difficulties according to this post:

As long as you're signed in it's fine, seems to be a problem with the logging in, and out sections.

It would be nice if somebody would contact a GM to let them know of this issue since navigating their customer support page on POL is giving me a headache.
