Moogle Hat Augments

I'm debating on which Moogle Hat I should obtain...

On one hand I can get +10 Acc and 5 Attack with 3% Haste or sweet WS gear that can be used for other jobs. I'll Call this TP hat.

Ninja is my favorite DD although Ranger is a close second, and I loath with my current TP. With a moogle hat I can make a hat that provides +4 Str +15 Ws accuracy, +10 to acc and + 5 Att. I'll call this the WS Hat...


Using Marinara Pizza+1 I can reach 93% with my standard TP gear on Mamools, with the exception of Mamool Ja Infiltrator which is only 80.5-89.5 with my Max Acc gear (and not sacing Haste). So for practically any non Infiltrator I'm capped acc because Innin provides at least +5 Acc bonus.

To cap my Acc on Infiltrator I need anywhere between 11 to 29 which would make using TP Hat no brainer to close the gap. Also I can swap out other gear as I see fit on other mobs when we're not fighting Infiltrators (which I already do depending on how long Innin has been up).


On the other Hand the WS Hat can make up for my lacking WS gear. Although majority of our damage comes from TPing not WS, but it's nice to put up decent ws numbers or swap out acc other acc gear for str/att/dex (in no order). Not to mention it can be used on rng or another DD job (although I disliked 2hnd jobs for whatever reason I liked Sa Sturmwind when leveling war).


And Shiyo I already know your answer is for TP hat :p

Can you make any improvements to your tp sets acc or get more merits to help cap your acc? Also are you generally fighting said really evasive mobs?

WS hat onry. Turban is cheap and easy to get and the best haste option for head. There is really no reason to not use it. Personally I went with Str +4 Dex +4 ws acc +15 and crit dmg +2% for NIN/THF/MNK

Hmmm, I'd suggest getting the +4 STR +15 WSACC/+4 AGI +2% WSDmg augments, as you could use it for both NIN and RNG as your WS piece.

If your ACC is good enough already on NIN, maybe +4 STR +15 WSACC/+4 DEX +2% CritDmg augments for pure Blade: Jin.

If you just want to go ahead and just make it for RNG, I'd think my first suggestion or the +4 STR +15 WSACC/+10 RACC +5 RATK combo would be the way to go to TP in (if you don't have anything better) and WS in.

Actually what's your tp set?

Also technically 3 haste 10acc if you are uncapped or barely capped after all is said and done will probably out tp turban.

If yer having that much of an acc problem eat acc food.

Also Um if you were to make a tp hat on rng... get snap shot.

There are plenty of other places to put the racc. And a meritted rng only needs a total of +23 racc to cap on birds. IE you could do it with racc/ratt food nekkid.

And for ws peice 4agi/2% ws dmg will up your dmg way more than 5ratt

It's kind of lame that they bunched up Haste with Snapshot :/

Actually looking at it you shouldn't make a tp hat for 1 mob when you are doing fine with all the others you are fighting. You should be able to cap acc with pizza on just about anything else you are fighting. Hell /dnc for 10 more acc!!! Yeah I said it!

Well I decided to opt for Ws hat +4 Str +10 Acc +5 Attack +15 Ws Accuarcy.



I swapp out Back depending on mob
