the product. the damage looks sweet. but the delay.. the weapon isnt fast enough unless your decked in haste gear and refueling and even then devil slayer and other compareable weapons will out damage it over time.

From looking at the apatures and the evoliths. i picked 3 hunt register targets for the slots.

3 more nightmares before your weapon is complete. lots of confusing choices and square does'nt give any clues.. leaving the user to make their own mistakes.

Even if you could aquire the evoliths in this sweet sword.
I doubt it can outdamage devil slayer for blue mage.

you would critical hit 1/20 sword hits though.
if you eat any kind of meat you get the same attack bonus as this sword would provide.
adding 5-6 extra damage to frentic rip isnt going to stop wameroos from ripping you for 200 damage a round.. so really.. this sword is meh.. with alot of work to craft and alot of work gathering the ingredients.

if the sword weaponskills attack +14 from the frostmane evolith stack when duel wielded.. this might be a nice weapon for off-hand and might be okay situationally for situations where you want to hit hard and not tp feed with faster weapons.


devil slayer/concordia and widget slayer/concordia
would certainly be better then
devil slayer/dissector or devil slayer/ifrit.

and you can't party with dragoon because of the intimidation effect kicking in. but that's not a problem with samarai partys.

Yeah the whole synergy as its related to augments is fail. The gear is Fail its better than ah but trash compared to endgame gear and these weapons same as the gear better than ah stuff but not as good as rare ex. I wouldn't say the stuff is town gear though. I say its for people who don't do endgame. The Synergy stuff sure looks good though but thats about all. ;0 SE needs to come out with some better evoliths this the main reason why synergy sucks.

Alright, let's run over this:
No. There's no "unless", the delay kills the DPS. Other weapons get equal benefit from Haste.
Weaponskill hits, and only if it's Vorpal Blade. That augment does nothing for Expiacion or Savage Blade. Further, you're looking at a depreciated return even on Vorpal Blade since you should have at least 4% crit rate (merits) and should have more from decent DEX WS gear.
Don't eat meat don't eat meat don't eat meat. A perfect meat setup only gets around 400 accuracy, which just barely covers you on the lower level Greater Colibri. This requires Tizona (aftermath), ACC/Haste Desultor Tassets, and the best R/E or HQ gear everywhere else. You're also looking at potential sacrifices in your spell gear. Eat sushi, cap your hitrate, get basically the same Attack and more STR out of your gear for more damage. Even Pizza is highly situational for us.
There's no question of that fact. Slightly stronger weaponskills and a higher base damage don't outweigh the loss of DoT and stats for spells. Also, the craftable slayers have basically been replaced by now. Erlking's Blade/Beast Slayer is the way to go if you can't get Perdu and Koggelmander.
Higher base damage always goes in the mainhand. The only exception is relic/mythic weapons as they don't work offhanded.
If you're worried about TP feeding you probably shouldn't be meleeing.
Most things are better than that... You shouldn't be offhanding either weapon at 75.
