I mean don't get me wrong, i'm happy for all of you console gamers, it's typical as expected to be sweet and how it usually is.

But the bottom line is that for PC the lack of dedicated servers is in FFXI terms "gimp as ***".

I'm still pissed as you can tell, if i lived with my fiance atm i'd pick it up for xbox, but being that i played COD4 on PC more hardcore than any of you most likely for awhile, I'm PISSED as *** about no dedicated servers, no mods, no custom maps. Zero control over anything like there was on COD4.

I've always been into PC based FPS versus console for a very distinct reason i don't even know how to put into words.

MWII is amazing! Great game, im about 50% thru the campaign on Veteran atm, and am finding it alot more fun than WaW to do. Veteran is all about playing well, not having to sprint and get lucky now with unlimited enemeies. The objectives and missions are fun and enjoyable and the additions of Spec ops is a nice change to playing thru long missions.

Iv not tried the multiplayer yet, cos i know once iv started i wont stop, so ima 100% the offline stuff first. If anyone is thinking of buying this but hasnt, do it!

Drop everything including FF and go buy it and play it :D unless u dont like fps of course!

CoD: MWII is sick as hell, haven't played it online just yet, about 70% through Veteran Campaign, cannot figure out how to get to the submarine without getting myself killed 30 times. Other than making you actually think and plan, which is half the fun, it is an absolute must own. And for those that have played it through Campaign, its a dead giveaway that MWIII will be out, but who the hell knows when.

Dude I was stuck on that part for about 20 minutes and the only thing I can say is spam the hell out of Predator. And just blitz it if you got a pistol. Are you stuck in the area right before you reach the submarine? Because if you are, after going under the arch, run to the right instead of heading directional toward the submarine. There is a lot of metal boxes you can find cover behind and you don't have to touch the submarine for the timer to stop. You just need to get close enough to stop it. =o

It took me awhile to figure it out on veteran too... A lot the stuff after the submarine stage is just straight out blitzing and going out with a bang.

I can get the helo no issue, same with the tankers, I think my problem is what you just stated, I'm trying to go under the archway instead of taking the wide path. I spam predator, but I think my timing on it is off, that or my aim. I died probably 30 times before I said forget this and went to SpecOps. I'll try that idea, blazing with a handgun. I made it to the sub once, but consequently died just as the timer stopped. Thank you for the insight, when I give it a try and get past, I'll let you know if it worked.

It took a lot of trial and error but what I'd do is send a Predator missile to the other side of the archway, run in with my pistol and pick off whoever didn't get hit by it and run the wide path. I was very fortunate to hit a checkpoint that was about 20 feet away from the beginning of the archway too at 65 seconds. So I got to have a lot of trial and error redos without having to run down the path over and over.

Then after the archway just get behind the boxes, run around with a pistol and ninja chucking flash grenades and BOOM! Find a spot to hide and let the NPCs do all the killing. That's how I do it. I make NPCs do all the hard work if it is damn near impossible. Especially since the enemy AI is less threatening in MW2.

I pred missled the chopper to start, then just sat back and let enemies come to me, also you know when u launch pred missile you press RT again it goes fast ya? it really makes it quick, that was a tough lvl on Vet, hardest was protecting the computer imo, I beat it it was pretty tough and a nice story.
