Keeping this as non-descriptive as I can. Basically I saw the pic Veg posted with my ex, and was all O~HOHOHOHO I wonder how bad it could be. My ex says while it's probably bad, it shouldn't be *that* bad. So I'm like O~HOHOHOHORLY and proceeded to tell him that the next time he doesn't wake up for his classes or something, I'd wake him up that way. He's like "okay"... thinking it wouldn't be that bad.

A mutual friend's birthday rolls around a few days after that and he was asleep. I prod him, he grumbles and doesn't get up. I try this for maybe 5 minutes, bouncing on top of him, doing everything I can to harass him. Then I remember. I whisper quietly to him... "If you don't wake up I'll put bengay on your balls..." He answers with a grumbled "...whatever..." and I'm all... "Ooookay~" So I go, and I do it. He seems fine for about 10 minutes before jumping up, yelping, and rushing to the shower. I only got like, half of a nut. Anyway, so he's in the shower screaming. I feel awful, but am also laughing my *** off. He screams at me "IT DOESN'T WASH OFF"... I laugh more. I think it takes an hour for the burning to subside completely.

Granted, he's not sure what's worse, that or a full-on groin kick. Later that night at the party, he whacks me on the head with a garbage bag (thinking it's just light garbage) but it actually contained a glass bottle. At any rate that really hurt. :<

Aaaaaaaaanyways, replying to the OP's original topic... Really, don't rush your way to 75. I sure as hell didn't (ask ALL of my lsmates and check my comments/screenshots--it's a frakkin' miracle I hit 75 at all); it took me about 2 years. During those two years I thoroughly enjoyed my journey. I loved meeting different people in EXP parties and have met some of my best friends in those (but most in my linkshell :3). And missions, quests, and endgame are insanely *NOT* fun without good friends to enjoy them with. :)

Honestly, I really hated it when people seriously rushed me to 75 as if it were the best thing in the world--it's not, and I'm awfully glad my lsmates just teased me about it but never thought I was more of a noob not to have gotten there fast enough.

I'm a bit tired after the day, so tl;dr version: It doesn't matter how long you've played the game or how much you've accomplished in that time. It matters how much you've enjoyed your time here, and the REAL things you've gained in that time--friends, good memories, and the like.

being 1-74 feels like being a child, all innocent without people expecting you to have every map and know every (pos) and auto-gimp label if you don't have SEA SKY ect. =\ end game is fun once, then it feels like logging into lolwork.

Seriously.

For you:

1.) Ex threatened a good friend of mine that I met, later on to realize he use to be in my LS. Later on, I find out the ex threatened all that cared for me & likewise to death, friend died of that depression driving him to heroine overdose.

2.) Being reunited with my first childhood sweetheart is great but the news from the time passed is horrible. Rape, adoption, suffering without each other in given circumstances when we could be with each other in arm's reach. Both our parents killed & him disguising himself as a girl / Dragonhunter before we reunited is harsh to just reconcile what we longed for though I sadfully gave up on him since everyone at school, even staff told me he died.

3.) Not seeing long-time friends on anymore is a downer. They didn't quit, most of them got killed for in-game stature to be sold for big buck.

4.) Grandmother passed away & foster parents with attitude of dying near, changing their optimism & talented attitudes to sullen restfulness; Even though some heads of SEI are friends with the foster father & based some major NPCs in stories of FFXI on him.

Other than that I regret my lack of driven ambition that I use to have for the game.

On the topic of bengay and other traps, guys, remember to always check with the fingers first. It'll hurt less when the gears or vials of acid or razor blades or other surprises kick in in the dark places (god forbid you catch a rapex device with your larger member. Dont know what that is? google it. Knowledge is power; in this case, remaining in the gene pool)
