It is quite funny when I'm in a coffee shop at home when a English/American comes in wanting to try this "Forbidden Fruit", they're faces in amazement about the fact I'm smoking a joint in front of people is incredible lmao.

also no one ever beats there wife cuz they got stoned on pot, but i think that happens a lot with drunks, no ones ever smoked a blunt and then gone on a killing spree, no ones ever sparked a joint and strapped a bomb to themselves and no ones ever killed anyone driving while high as opposed to driving drunk but i will say this EVERYTHING IN MODERATION even vitamin c can hurt you if you take to much

The fact of the matter is: Marijuana is here to stay however much people dislike it so they better get used to it.

If I'm in England I'm not gonna not smoke it because it's illegal such as every other pot smoker here, and quite frankly if a policeman stops me (small chance) and takes it away I will lol at the fact he has to go back and fill out a form about it while I get nothing except not having a joint until i see my "Friend" again.

The only reason pot should be legal is this, people will do it regardless of whether it is legal or not, all that would change is who all the money is going too.

With pot being illegal the funds go to gangs that grow it. If pot was legal it would be more controlled and could be taxed, benefiting the government instead.

I think it should just be decriminalized. Similar to alcohol, as in don't toke and drive, don't smoke it in public, but if you do it in your own home then that's cool.

If we made Marijuana a "dont ask, dont tell" I'd ask for it to be legalized.

People will drink and drive so it should be legal. people will rape so it should be legal. people will murder so it should be legal.

All those examples harm other people, smoking pot does not. Also, none of those examples generate funds for gangs and criminal organizations like drugs do.

Hypothetically, If you were caught in some accident/disaster or whatever and someone pulled you to safety or maybe out of harms way in turn possibly saving your life and you find out later he smokes pot on small occasions. Would you hate him too? Just wondering.

I've smoked on occasion nothing big. But, I don't think it should be legalized, maybe just somewhat tolerated.

Kind of like the Netherlands in a way. For those who picture people walking around smoking fat spliffs all day in public, it does not happen. There are a lot of provinces where you can't even smoke a cigarette in public areas/restaurants let alone a joint.

If you carry over a certain amount grams there and I think the tolerated amount is 5 grams, you can be fined and in trouble.
I feel it is something that shouldn't be publicly done. Just in the privacy of your home.

But even I won't do it in the comfort of my living room, I'd roll out onto a balcony. I have 3 beautiful children I don't even drink in front of. So does me smoking pot in small moderation make me a bad person? I don't think so.

Believe it or not, I smoke sometimes because sitting in a wheelchair for long periods of time through out the day takes a toll on my back. And I for one don't like having to feed myself pills all through the day.
When I can just roll out onto the balcony at night when my kids are asleep and take a few puffs and relax on the couch with my laptop and play a little FFXI.

I agree with Feifongwong, if it was made legal the money would benefit the government and our economies, rather than some underhand gangs. The only reason tobacco is still legal is because of the massive amounts of money the government makes from taxing it. Otherwise, it would be another marijuana.

I wasn't aware peanuts gave off smoke when made into a sandwich.

The point was smoking it near them. The equivalent would be forcing a glass of milk down a lactose intolerant person's throat. We can't stop breathing just because someone near us is smoking.
