Help Identifying Cause Of Crashing

Hey guys, could use a hand identifying the cause of my issue.
Lately I started multi boxing, and when I have 2 windows of ffxi open, at least once every few hours when I expand the window via Numpad +, Enter, then tab to a new window with Numpad + again the game completely freezes and crashes. I then have to relaunch windower from desktop. Any suggestions, ideas as to what can solve this would be greatly appreciated. I can answer any questions as to what files/addons etc. I have if that helps... Is it more likely to be a memory error? Or one of the addons that affects the chatlog? It's incredibly intrusive to crash like this during events...

I believe it's something to do with the memory or temp file the game uses and it not being properly split when you multibox, so the game tries to access the same thing or gets consued. You also notice bugs (if it doesn't crash) where it either shows the chat from the other character or it just wipes.

As said sandbox should help.

Just another confirmation that sandbox is presumably the fix you need, that fixed it for me.

Also, along with sandbox, check for a folder called temp or tmp insidde your FFXI (not POL) installation folder. My log wouldnt stop earsing itself.. I deleted all log files in that folder, and created a folder named after each of my multibox characters I use. The logs now go in each folder for each characters.

Edit: I dont seem to have anymore crashes like you did either.

Sandbox plugin fixed a lot of chatlog related multibox crahsing.
Since nobody else suggested it, I though I would mention it...

After adding sandbox, I havn't crashed so all's well that ends well. I do like the idea of having separate character folders as a further safety net though.

Chat logs still do randomly disappear, it's an inevitability, so probably still worth pursuing the folders if that matters to you.

That may fix that.
