It is in the August update, just not enabled initially until it's bug fixed. Hopefully it'll be toggled on within a week or so.

Sucks but it happens. I sent emails like that once or twice a year for delayed releases.
So long as they update the version with the new gear, I'm not heartbroken if they want to fix it before they release the content

Well, I'd rather they fixed it than to throw it out there and give everyone a bad impression. There are players who returned for the free-to-play campaign who would be looking at this content to see if it's worth re-subscribing, and the last thing they want is to turn off those players.
Be happy we get access to the large beta testing team at all, many games of this ones age get beta tested by the players.

stuff like this should not be launched during free access anyway, people with 500 alts will spam it and sell anything of value at inflated price for RMT

They shouldnt do any free access campaign at all. All it does is adding more mules and bots. Also the rate this is happening is unfair to the payers. We dont get a free month.
Or make it maybe once a year.

They shouldn't do things during freeplay, as a costumer, sure, that makes sense.
As a business, they absolutely will do everything to get people to stay subbed and raise metrics. Nothing would look better than 150,000 people doing Sortie. And that's all that matters.
But they can't even do that right.

You could literally complete all the new story and most end game content if you just played each return free period... dumb honestly, they do it too much imo.

The strange thing is that their site where you can buy accounts or move servers. That discount starts and ends right at the time listed afaik.
Free play: It's whatever.
Give them money for server moving or buying an account: FIRM DEADLINES!
