Tricking The Client Into Thinking You're Invisible?

Been looking for a way to trick the client-side into thinking the character is invisible, as that would hide the name plate. I had messed with Witness Protection, editing it to do nothing but change my own name to "", but while this removed the name, it left the linkshell icon and unfortunately also removed it from chat logs/party menus, so that's not ideal.

Anyone have a way to apply the invisible effect to the client-side character only (even better if it can do it without also triggering the transparency)?
