IRL Rostam! (In-Progress)

So I've been looking to commission a Rostam for a while! But since it seems it might be a while before Drayco gets to it (they do good stuff!) gets to the Rostam, I decided to treat myself to something a bit more high-end.

I found Heroic Replicas through SGDQ and gave them an email. I've just got the design back from them, and wow, they really pulled a lot out of that shitty PS2 model and 128x64 pixel texture.



They're at the point where they're asking if anyone else would be interested in one (keep in mind this is pretty pricy), and posted over on Reddit asking:

Yeah, it's a pretty penny, but as someone in the creative industry I know how much it's worth. The 3D modeling alone is pretty time-consuming, and I know people who make their living off of that.

I've played this game for 17 years at this point and I wanted something a bit more personal than just standard merch.

Thing is gorgeous tho. What's it made of? Resin cast?

I believe mostly 3D printed parts. And tbh I've always felt you undercharged.

I can make out the bottles of paint being Testor's. Did the painter also mention which paint colors specifically were used? The blue is very similar to Tamiya Metallic Blue, but I'm a lot less familiar with the Testor's line of paints to be able to ID the blue and red.
