So far so good. Great update thread.
"long" years of doing odyssey, please look forward to it Did they forget to do job updates? There are still un-updated jobs. I like that theyre adding on to Odyssey, but it seems like it's going to be too easy (I hope I'm wrong here).
Not being able to upgrade all of the gear yet is kind of annoying as well. 24 hour lockout on Odyssey is lame as well. I was kind of hoping it was spammable like Ambuscade. Interesting. Cumulative point bonuses from successive Mireu clears. Extra points that exceeds the cap, effectively allowing people to farm points as they please instead of daily. Also nice mobilization feature. I complained that you could enter and die immediately without even moving. Also gives weakened people a chance to recover without fear of death.
Monberaux can use cover according to the notes. Wonder if that's a new ability or the paladin version. Seems like a strange thing to give a chemist. Best case scenerio is that the storyline they come up with eventually Phoenix and Bahamut are added in 2022 as their "major surprise for the 20th anniversary". Wishful thinking, but FFXI doesn't feel "complete" without a high tier battlefield VS Bahamut, at least.
