...and just to be clear, 45 House Republicans already have full access to the depositions through their membership on one of the three panels leading the impeachment inquiry. During the depositions, Republican lawyers are given the same amount of time to question witnesses as Democratic counsels.

Its just the standard deflection from the GOP. The Taylor testimony was devastating, just the opening statement established the quid pro quo, they don't want to talk about it so they stage a political stunt whining about the completely legitimate process that hurts their feelings. No rules are being broken by the Dems, they are not "secret hearings" they are simply closed door sessions, its already been established repeatedly all the GOP members of the respective committees are present and allowed to ask their questions. Its a completely fair process.
