Nyzul isle event 2019
I stopped doing these the last few events because it seemed you couldn’t get good ***from it that was related to omen or any new items. For anyone that has been doing this does it seem the same as before? No new items updated?
Biggest drop is a subscription fee to SE every month. That's a 100% drop rate.

I did it pretty religiously whenever it was going on once I was able to solo Pandemonium Warden and I've never seen an Omen drop.
I just do it for the ZNM pops anymore. Go to 60 and start over. Get some full sets and sell to the mythic-makers. Thats really all its good for.

You all seem to miss the chance for Pulse Weapon drop from ???Weapons.
I got 6 from last NNI campaign. And if you beat floor 100, Linen Pouch is 100% drop. Last campaign I got Ea Slops and 2 tables and a PW key with some T3-4 ZNM pops.
This campaign I got hekoya harness and some T3 ZNM pops. But man those Order lamp floors killing me >_< This campaign is great for lowering the price of alex, thats about it. I recall pulling something like 3k alex a day doing 1-100 runs as brd, geo, whm.
Geo does all the floors, brd kills the final boss as its super resistant to magic. Whm is just there to easier manage lamp order flooe. Not only the weapons to make are very limited in numbers (even counting mules), but it's much easier/faster to just pop 30M. Bahamut.Celebrindal

In my past 3 mythics I haven't farmed a single T4 zeni pop, my mules hold them from prior NNI campaigns. Right now I'm even sitting with 3 pops on a mule as well as all three KIs from those T4 that also dropped from appraisals in NNI.
I've yet to see the current big ticket drops (Orpheus Sash, WSD ring), but I often see +2 boxes apraised into Linen pouches, or +1 items appraised as high end crafted items such as Tempus Fugit and Chirich Rings....for someone who doesn't craft in those skills, they're a quick few mil for a 20ish minute run. Some people have all the luck. Over 80 solo runs and several hundreds of weapons. Have NEVER seen a pulse once. Dozens of ??? Boxes... Never seen a table. It's literally the only reason I used to do this event and the drop rate is just trash. I get a good amount of t3 pops which I sell back to people making mythics, but never anything I want. Poor me
So yeah of you want a modified version of anniversary/gobbie keys with a specific pool of items, this is an easy way to burn 30 minutes and walk away with some Gil items. Beats watching your moogle spin. With Cp Campaign and Omen cards going on though, not the hottest way to spend your time imo Wotasu said: » You all seem to miss the chance for Pulse Weapon drop from ???Weapons. Don't farm this for pulse weapons, it was already established you'd have better luck doing T3 Zitah's or Voidwatch during a campaign. Lakshmi.Buukki

He's probably telling the truth. I've gotten 4 chastisers off of t3 in under 130 fights before I just recently got a super bad cold streak. Other people tell me they've not even gotten 1/100, which I believe. There's a few of my friends who claim to get pulse weapons every NNI campaign, and I see a good bit of shouts during this time which might confirm it does drop rarely. Luck is luck. You try your hand at whatever works.
But as stated earlier, once you've made the first 3-5 ambuscade weapons, you're really just adding niche to the rest of them and they aren't worth the grind it price. I am not doubting that you might get super lucky and find one per campaign, but to get six? C'mon now. That's just giving a boatload of fake hope to others.
I mean, there are 20,000+ items in the game. Of which maybe
That's what, 18ish/5000 that's .5% (I don't know what each NQ +1 +2 can drop, I've literally never done it even once) No one should realistically expect to get more than 1 but luck is luck and false hope is what keeps the event going. Lakshmi.Buukki

Cerberus.Kylos said: » but to get six "6" doesn't tell you how many runs the person did. It could have been 100. It could have been 1000. It's not false hope, its just people reporting their experience and conveniently leaving out the most important part of the equation. The people who got all 5 Omen bodies from Aman trove never told you it took them 300~ orbs to get that kind of luck. Annv keys were the most deceptive/false hope ever invented. You saw when people posted the great things they got, never the thousands of keys they had to pop to get them. Cerberus.Jiko said: » I just do it for the ZNM pops anymore. its quite possible i have 9 al zahbi tables and that is supposedly the rarest item
bring jobs like geo and blm and you can almost hit 100 reliably 100% of the time. You can even go slow when you get close to a 20 interval floor if you want to go for +2 boxes as well, majority of my runs hit 20,40,60,80,100 unless I overshoot. trying to go from say 11 or 12 to ??? floor.

I have made maybe 15 runs of this so far and managed to get 3 pulse weapons, i average around 10 ??? items each run mainly because i aim for boss floors when i can but i haven't had a table, which i think is weird.

What specific benefits BLM and GEO brings to this event? Unrelated but not that much, anyone have a guess when is the next VW campaign?
Wondering the best route to get some few pulse weapons: waiting VW campaign, trying this NNI campaign or trying to beat the T3s. Offline

VW has horrible drop rate even during campiagn. I BLU every NNI event and get at least 1 pulse weap, spamming it of course when not afk, Omen, or CP. At this point I just want a table.
How many ??? items do you usually get per run?
Asura.Suteru said: » How many ??? items do you usually get per run? It varies massively, on a floor 100 run you can exit with as little as 5 items depending on NM luck, but I have exited with as many as 20+ items before. Lakshmi.Buukki

I usually get between 15-18 ??? Items on runs, can get more than 20. Keep in mind, though, that many of the items you get will be ??? Cape/sash/footwear/gloves etc, so youll walk away with only a handful of potential pulse weapons. And the appraisal rate is horrible for pulse weapons. Don't believe the hype. It's a good event to do while you're wasting time but don't bank on getting a pulse from it unless you're just mindlessly farming Alex.

I think if you were really going to push this event, the best thing would be to get all the floor 100 armor and send it to a mule or dump it in a wardrobe you don't use (activate it, move the armor, deactivate), buy all the T1 and 2 ZNM pops, and focus on +2 boxes. But man, who cares?
