In Game Gamepad Toggle

Been looking around for a way to enable and disable gamepad inputs when game is out of focus via console commands. I know there is a "Gamepad always enabled" option in the Windower profile, but i thought that there was a way to enable/disable via console commands at some point like the mouse and keyboard commands.

So unfortunately you can't toggle it while the game is open (that I know of)

What are you trying to do?

Just trying to toggle in game, trying to play other games and just lazy and don't feel like relogging to enable/disable it lol.

Real hassle to play something worthwhile while leaving ffxi on if you want to use a controller.

Just log out, set it, and come back. It's annoying but painless. I leave it disabled now all the time so it's not an issue anymore. Actually, there's maint tomorrow. You can do it then since you have to log back in anyway.

Hummmm on the FFXI config tool you can uncheck the option to keep gamepad enabled when game.isnt in focus.

But that requires game reboot though.

That's the whole issue, logging back in sucks

Using Windower, dualboxing, and having controller focus set to when window is active only allows me to use the controller in anything else. Like if I wanted to play MegaMan 11 while having my FFXI logged in, I can do that no problem. Probably has something to do with dualboxing.

My biggest issue is FFXI always crashing if the screen flickers from resolution changing/full screen activating.
