Question on Spelleffects
So i have some mules I play with and I want them to have all effects filtered so I turned them on In game and the setting seems to do nothing, is Windower overriding that setting somehow? I can still see all the effects on my other chars
Windower overriding game settings was a common issue for me. Don't know if it's overriding game effects though.
Effects don't seem to be in the config file for overruling in game menus though.

There's a quirk in the Effects settings of FFXI native config.
If you enable the first filter (All effects during battle), then all the filters only apply while you're engaged, and are enabled otherwise.
So to filter everything, enable all filters except the first one (All effects during battle).
