I killed 100+ for a shiny, checked my geoalt a couple of days later and apparently he must have had a annealed personal looted during farming.
Not really a surprise, there are 2 loot slots and the lance is probably ~1/100 per loot slot given it's ~1/65 per kill and the second slot shows about 2/3 of the time. 3/5 * 1/65 = .009%, pretty damn close to 1%.
Would put your odds at roughly 1/100 * 2/3 * 1/100 = ~1/15000. Zoinks.

Taking a picture with a cell phone is a violation of the obscure website dedicated to a Japanese MMO...article 3.1 in your FFXIAH user's manual...punishable by death !

Cell phone pic not any harder to fake than a screenshot. Alter the packet/memory to show what you want to fake, now FFXI is 100% accurately showing the *** data. Screenshot, cell phone pic, print screen your entire desktop, any way you do it it'll be indistinguishable from the genuine article.
Keep that in mind for the rest of the day. (this isn't fake, it's just extremely uncommon)
