Blinker prices got nerfed long ago. Nothing you can really exchange it for now. Unless you want to brew something

It's a rather slow method but if you look at the price of aurore items on AH, it's definitely worth it cruor/gil ratio wise. It's like x10 the cruor value (at least on Asura).

It's not worth it imo. Converting capped Cruor = ~300m when it used to be worth 2.5billion gil. Also takes days doing it legit or hours doing it spicy. Spicily buying/selling for hours is actually something they still ban for.

Because some peeps are stuck in the "stay geared while I level" mode. While others just PL to 99 and gear up via ambuscade or in some cases, sparks.

Some people don't have the option to be PLed. Either they don't know anyone to do it for them, lack the gil to pay for a merc, like leveling 'old school', or simply don't realize PLing in a option.

While shantotoII literally solos the entire game 1-99 its still faster to be in aurore than crowset/naked

Worth using if you can get it from someone trying to sell crour for sure

For 'PL', I'm really implying being leveled by someone else in an Eschan zone. Yes trusts make soloing faster than otherwise, but leveling speed is still slower vs getting AoE Shadow Dragon kills. A returning player might not realize such a feature is an option. For a lot of people, the last 'PL' thingy they did was Zeruhn Mines Bats/Worms (GoV); Or Aby Worm party.
