Resolved, just wasn't able to remember which mythic was the last and was trying it with the wrong ones. Trading the weapon to the whitegate and then talking to it worked per usual.

You need to retrieve the base weapon from the NPC from the previous mythic weapon. Did you do that?

You can't retrieve the weapon until the last mythic's Coming full circle quest is completed. It had been so long I couldn't remember which mythic I did last and sadly I had tried 5 jobs/weapons that I thought was it and no luck and finally came across the right one lol

Yeah you kinda didn’t mention you had multiple mythics. The way you previously worded your issue, it sounded like you had only one other mythic. But glad you figured it out.
