Bored while smacking reives, and LS got on the subject of things that'd be cool to see on GEO and RUN's AF. So I figured, why not make a set and see what y'all's ideas are as well. Mostly just what RUN JAs get what enhances on what pieces, and some bonus stats I overall hope to see (Not specualting STR+/Acc+/Meva+/Etc). Making my designs based on them being around Item Level 110.

Great Sword With Overly-Fancy Name:
DMG: 205 Delay:460
HP/MP+40
Adds "Regen" and "Refresh" effects (+2)
Increases Rune Damage.
(Damage dealt +5 per rune)

Evasionist's Crown:
MP+40
Enhances effect of "Regen" and "Refresh" spells
(Refresh+1, Regen+15 when targeting self.)
Enhances "Embolden" effect
(Enhances next two spells instead of just one)
Enmity+5
Enhances "Fast Cast" effect (+5)
Haste+7%

Evasionist's Coat:
HP+60
Physical Damage Taken -20%
Increases Accuracy and Attack based on harbored runes
(+10 for each non-repeated rune, +5 for repeats)
Enhances "Ward" Effects
(Vallation/Valiance +5% per rune, Pflug erases all negative-statuses currently on user, Leiment absorbtion +20% and grants Stoneskin equal to 50% absorbed amount)
Enmity+10
Haste +4%

Evasionist's Bracers:
HP+30 MP+30
Enhances "Effusion" Effects
(Gambit resist-15 per rune expended, Lunge MAcc+10 MAB+10%)
Enhances "One for All" Effect
(Duration +15 seconds)

Enhances "Tactical Parry" Effect (TP +1.5)

Increase Evasion and Parry rate based on harbored runes

Run and geo will be getting iLVL AF so you should expect to see long lists of bonuses to all attributes.

wouldnt expect the AF weapon to be on par with delve boss weapons though :< JPz would go ballistic with people getting an adequate GS "handed to them".

That's why I gave greatsword the rune damage. Something with less base but potential for more hybrid utility. Basically just took Gram and gave it some banned-substances :P

I want a stp body tbh. Only two hander with lacking stp sets. To get a 5hit with run you have to give up a lot of multihit. So I would like to see a body with a bunch of cool stat boosts like sylow said with like 10 stp like drg and sam AF3 bodies. Could swap out some pieces with that.
edit: I'm also still holding out for the idea of mythic GS... Then I might actually log in again lol

Rune Fencer isn't meant to 5 hit you ignorant derp. It's DPS utility comes from the massive amount of multi-hit that it gets, which increases the value of the Rune Enchantment Damage, otherwise it loses 40% (approximate) of it's value. It isn't meant to be played the same as a dragoon or samurai in any capacity. If anything, a 6 or 7 hit build is preferred due to the high rate of double and triple attack that it receives from armor like Sigyn's Mask, Thaumas Coat, Epona's Ring, and so forth.

It's all speculation/fantasy/MagicalChristmasLand, so make up what ya want (within some level of reason)

I figure base statistics will follow stat ranks since it's AF and supposed to be simulating level growth. Other than that it's hard to balance bonus stats because who knows what the *** anymore. Mostly aimed to make RUN finally better at magic damage mitigation than an Aegis while not forfeiting DD stats.

Weapon is lore friendly since the weapon can supposedly be used as a catalyst for extra runes, according to the RUN storyline so far they used to use exclusively their weapons to harbor runes until it was found that you can directly harbor runes in your own flesh. The rest of the stats are balanced around being slightly less than Bereaver, however I tried to make it so this sword would be at least slightly relevant for those without Senbaak.

All i want is at least +2/tick refresh on the body piece thats viable for use in TP phase, cause damn orvail is the ugliest thing ever made and the job could use some help in the mana sustain department.

I'm waiting for MAB bonuses on AF to enhance the Lunge effect, and a litle bit of STR for Resolution WS, cuz STR is a problem on light melee gears.

It would be nice too receive some bonuses and "recast" on abilits without merits. Like "One For All" and "Liement". More Runes and enspell dmg are welcome too! :D
