Solo'ing Briareus Help

Just take the easy way out - level summoner or beast master. Get ducal guard atma, razed ruin and mounted champion. Solo it on your own very easy. Just make sure to wait before you use healing items on your pet, when he hit you with his zombie tp move. It should take a few seconds then you can use healing salve, pet biscuit, or dawn mulsum. Very easy to solo with pet jobs.

Nice thing to notice, if Merc Strike does 1111 dmg, he's gonna 2hr, that's when you want to run.

Did it as a BLU/WAR last night. stun a few Merc strike with sudden lunge. Die too fast to be dangerous ^^

Yeah, it sucks to play while I'm here, I get disconnected a lot and lag a ton too. I don't usually have any trouble stunning as /dnc, but the spells take some more time.

I'm almost completing the Dawn of Delectability quest to get the "all jobs" dagger for BLU/dnc. I'll give it a shot as BLU/dnc later on.

I almost managed to solo Bria on WAR/dnc with 3 regen atmas. I'll have to try BLU/dnc with the stuns, some evasion atma and luck. It just sucks to struggle to get the KIs and then die while at it. 18 helms left!!

Dagger quest

I do have SMN and BST and MC, DG atmas. I just hate to "solo" stuff as BST... sitting and watching the fight from afar is not fun at all.

Yes sitting iddle while your pet or avatar do the work maybe less thrill for you lol, but it's much safer I suppose. You can always have your thrill soloing apademak or other NMs in Abyssea like Sobek :)
