1. Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between accuracy and weaponskill accuracy on gear.

The way i understand is that accuracy affects all melee hits including ws so why would someone choose a weaponskill accuracy piece of gear unless it was more?

Is it somehow calculated differently or is it just another translation error?

2. The moonshade with tp bonus aug. Can anyone tell me if the following is true and/or correct me please.

Upheaval gets a damage multiplier based on 100% 200% 300% etc so does equipping the earring at 100tp making the ws 125tp make no difference?
Would i need to wait until 175tp to make it count?
Am i also right in assuming that 100tp-199tp is same thing and so on?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Weaponskill accuracy effects only weaponskills, you are correct.

125tp will give you more damage than 100 tp.

You can swap your gear before WSing, so if you had a piece of gear with WS accuracy that you did not want to wear while meleeing you could just swap it in for your WS.

How much more damage would this 25 tp give is what im getting at? Could i justify using a different earring over moonshade?

As far as I know, you are correct in your assumption for WS accuracy gear. But often times, it also has another stat that is very high as well, such as Miki Pants.

For TP Bonus gear, often times, the TP multiplier on WSs isn't a static value for just 100%, 200%, and 300%. Ishould scale up gradually, with those values just being given as an example of what to expect.

I do not know exactly, but the TP bonus/attack moonshade was always considered the best WS earring when I was playing.

Here's a very simplified rule of thumb for tp effect on most damaging weaponskills.

The slopes between 100 and 200 and 200 and 300 are linear. However, unlike in the above graph, there is no sudden jump at 200 or 300 like that. The increase between 199 and 200 behaves the same as between 198 and 199.

Upheaval varies by TP, with anchor points of 1, 1.5, and 2 at 100%, 200%, and 300% TP respectively. That means Moonshade earring will increase fTP by .125 at any point until 276 TP, where the increase starts to hit the cap. At 100%, this increases damage by about 12.5%. But that's only for the first hit--all other hits in a WS (including DA procs, etc) are a static 1 http://fTP. Since Upheaval has at least another 3 hits, it's more like 3.1% increase in damage. Even less when you consider WAR's high DA rate. Regardless, I don't think other earrings will nearly as good.

Most WS are posted on BG Wiki with their fTP anchor points, like for Upheaval. If there's only one fTP posted on the page, then it is static and Moonshade Earring would only affect whatever the "varies with TP" description of the WS is.

On the other hand, elemental gorgets and belts will always increase fTP by 0.1, regardless of WS or your TP.

edit: There's a random glitch that sometimes turns "fTP" into a URL >_> I'm not sure why.

Sorry these anchor points are what I was trying to show by the jumps, I'd have to recheck the calculation but are you sure that the difference between say a 199tp Upheaval and a 200tp Upheaval would be the same difference as a 259tp and 260tp Upheaval?

Yes, there's no jump at the x00 mark

i might not always read into how stuff works

To be fair, he may have just been talking about the silence duration for Guillotine.
