What is the best subjob for BLU for new Delve Content?

WAR for point farming, THF for NMs

I've not tried it myself(No one ever looking for a blu for these) but the most popular option(for everyone) seems to be Thf at the moment, SATA'ing Benthic typhoon.

I'm sort of new to /THF and know very little about THF in general. I did a Delve NM tonight and I don't understand some things.

Do you always want to use SA and TA together? According to the BG wiki, they both make the next attack 100% accurate, so wouldn't it be better to stagger their use so you can cast more 100% accurate spells?

IF TA really 100% accuracy, then I don't know what I was doing wrong because, while my SA seemed to be landed fine, I was having an impossible time landing anything with TA. How close behind someone do I have to be for it to work? I was using it separately from SA. I have a suspicion that was what the issue was but I need some confirmation on it.

Also, do you have to be facing the monster in order for the SA to succeed or can turn around, cast the spell, then turn back?

Trick Attack does not force the attack to connect unless you have Assassin, which is a THF-only trait; therefor, only use TA if you have a tank to plant hate onto who happens to be standing behind the mob. And yes, you have to be facing the mob for SA to work.

I see, thank you. One more question: Do you have to be right against the back of the monster for SA to succeed or can you stand at Cannonball range and have SA succeed, assuming you are stand behind the monster and facing it?

Long range will work if you are behind it still.

What spells would you set for /thf?

Distance spam Cannonball, close vanity dive or benthic.

when not ready sneak attack, usually cast some magical spell like regurgitation for % mp/damage
