Resolution Vs Upheaval With New AH Weapons

The new 99 GS Hatzoaar Sword looks like a very good option for Warrior considering there weren't many Gswords available to them.

I plan to make an Ukon, its just going to take awhile due to my limited time. I've heard Upheaval sucks by some people and was wondering if I should just go with the new Gsword and use Resolution until I get an Ukon.

This might help you, it's a bunch of DPS calculators created by Fenrir.Motenten. You might have to manually add the new weapon in though.

I have a buddy with +120vit in gear for Upheaval... Nope, no sucking there.

I've been trying to work out just that today, and this is what I came up with:

Ignored Legion, Valkyrie and Ares+1 gear for this comparison. Someone will come and offer more optimized gearsets, but I think what I came up with is fairly reasonable. Hope this helps.

Okay, well maybe I heard Upheaval sucked from people who have Rags and are close minded haha?

I'd be more than willing to give Upheaval a chance with the new AH Nohkux Axe if it is viable.

If my numbers don't lie, you'll be better off with either NQ AH weapon than lv90 Ukon when fighting Adoulin enemies (no level correction). Even Jingang GS + Resolution pulls ahead.

Are you sure you included Ukko's AM?... No way Upheaval beats Ukko's

Depends on target and buffs. Reso just destroys everything if your target has low defense or your attack is really buffed.

I have a 99 ukon and a flippin Hatzoaar war spamming resolution was almost on par with me in Reives. No idea how. Something is broke about the 99 relic/emps. I hear they're going to fix this issue soon though?

Would a 99Bravura do any better considering Upheaval is a multihit ws and bravura has +40acc on it?

I haven't noticed any accuracy issues though I'm usually on BLU for those events. Bravura is the weaker weapon for WAR in pure DPS but more then makes up for it in defense value. It's what you use when you want to inflict pain while laughing as the enemy feebly tries to kill you, and fails.

It's really hard for me to believe that Upheaval would dominate a UF War.

I got the 231 dmg gaxe, but upheaval numbers are pretty meh. My vit pretty low though sadly, far cry from the 220 str I use to have.

Well looks like greatsword warrior is effectively dead now with ragnorok not being upgradeable.
