Seems you can't start the quest on RUN. Can anyone refute this?
Considering RUN wasn't designed past 70 this doesn't surprise me. You are also unable to level RUN or GEO as your first 75 job (now first 99 job). Currently RUN and GEO are capped at 70 unless you have a previous job at 99 already then you have no need for the quest and are able to go all the way.
I just started the quest tonight on rune fencer and equipped it as well.
Hmmm... I tried multiple times, checked to make sure I didn't have any active quests from Gumbah. I guess I'll try again and see what happens.
Well...do you have another WS quest active? You can't have more than 1 active at a time.

Can you cancel the gun trial? I think I'm gonna have this issue and don't remember if I gotta finish the trial I started.
I think if you just drop the trial weapons it gets interrupted since it's related to that. If you have the annal of truths though I'm not sure you can interrupt without going to kill the NM and then reporting back.
You have to talk to the quest NPC on a relevant job and you'll get the option to cancel the quest.

That's not what I meant. It's a waste to drop the annal of truth after you've done the points.
