Hey, for some reasons i cant save my changes in plugin settings.
for example in plugins/settings/timers i tried to change slimmode from false to true but its not letting me save the change.

is says saved failed. "please check whether if this file is opened in another program" no ffxi and/or windower is opened at the time.

I don't know for sure but I heard that the update broke windower (for now, of course.) So that could be it.

Is there somewhere i can find tutorials for windower 4 plugins and settings? I found this for the older plugins.
http://wiki.windower.net/display/Windower/Recast

I also tried changing timer settings to remove the progress bar, reduce font size and change its positioning and I get the "open in another program" and won't let me save the changes.

Ok how do I move the recast position? I do not even have a recast file in my plugins folder, so im rather confused. Do I need to re-download it? Also, my Macro Palette size wont let me set it to full size, Anyone able to help me out?

I forget the folder its in but it looks like SC you can edit it in there I cant really get into detail because I cant see it atm

*Edit*
Recast is also called Timers now unless you moved the old stuff over you can edit the recast file the old way

same issue. Using notepad ++. i got around the issue by clicking Save As, and saving it as a new file, with the same name, in a different folder. Then copy/paste/overwrite existing.

All permissions are already set, and I tried saving a copy in the folder, it won't let me delete or overwrite the Timers xml or any of my Spellcast xmls. Pretty much cannot edit anything to do with windower4 aside from making new xmls and giving them different names which then become non-editable after saving in the windower4 folders.

fixed it, had to go back a couple more folders and set permissions there for it and everything inside it.
