Uguisu

With the expansion of meebles Uguisu is finally obtainable!

First reports getting in that the dual wield is around 3,00%
So could the number crunchers, please tell me how this weapon compares to:

Kamome (inside abyssea)
Arisui +11 STR +22 ATT (outside Abyssea)

Is it worth getting? Or not needed when you have the two of the above? Please elaborate :)

It's not actually around 3%. It's <5%. It could be 1%, 2%, 3%, or 4%.

If it is 3% (Pretty likely IMO since we've seen that value on other pieces before), it will not win against Kamome inside Abyssea.

VS Fire Arisui outside Abyssea, the two are very close and it will vary a lot based on your buffs. As a general rule, I will use Uguisu if:

1. You have few haste buffs (Just white magic haste)
2. You are /WAR

When you're /DNC there are some things where Uguisu wins and some where Arisui wins.

When you get marches and whatnot, naturally you should stick to Fire Arisui.

Overall, it's a pretty good weapon. Basically another sidegrade to kamome/arisui for the offhand slot.

If it ends up being 1% like mimikazari (which isn't outside the realm of possibility, lol), it will be...not very good, heh.

was it proven what % DW this katana gives or still "could be anything < 5%"?

There has been no further testing on the NA side beyond it being less than 5%. JP side is reporting 3%.
