Cataclysm works on Isgebind. Thats how I killed them for a friend.
Fell Cleave won't work well, like most WSs that crit. You're better off using an AoE elemental WS because of the magic attack bonuses, etc., but G.axe and Axe don't get an AoE elemental. Cataclysm is a better option.

Yah it's high enough- you learn it at 290. I brewed them as BLM main for the native MAB job trait and the extra MAB gear.
Cataclysm might not do too well against Isgebind. I recall getting terrible numbers using Sanguine Blade with a Primeval Brew against it.

Cataclysm deals dark damage where as Sanguine blade doesnt.. it just drains HP which are two very different things.

dark element based, but doesnt deal elemental damage which is different.
Gale axe is wind based but doesnt deal wind elemental damage.

Why is dmg affected by MAB??
This may sound elementary but make sure you have yourself set to quartermaster and have enough inventory space/understanding friends to take all drops. Last thing you want is to have your empry items hit the ground because you weren't quick enough at lotting.

Sanguine Blade
Description: Drains a percentage of damage dealt to HP varying with TP.
Will inflict damage on undead but will not drain HP.
Element: Dark
