I've never done cosplaying before unless you count dressing up for halloween. But anyways I've always been fascinated at how detailed some people make their costume and even go to the lengths to act just like the character they're portraying.

While this thread is obviously going one way,I'll agree with volk.The length of time a perfectly detailed,designed,made costume and all would take,along with the deication is truely admirable to one's devotion to the series/character.

I love cosplaying. I'm very new to it but the couple cons that i've gone to have been so much fun. My favorite part is actually just going around and taking pictures with all the cool costumes. This is me at Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando this passed August. I have many more pictures but I won't flood the thread with them. If you're interested in seeing more pictures I took, PM me and I'll share what I have.

These are pictures I took with my iPhone, so they quality isn't really that great. But these are real people I encountered. I think it's so cool how "regular" people can make great cosplays.
Mine's OK, I bought the stuff online (minus the sword).
I don't have any pictures of my whole costume, so this is the best picture set I had. There's a wig and a sword too.

It's less controversial than the other misty pic at least...
I love to look at other peoples' cosplay. I would like to play with it someday, but I am just learning to sew (and so far awful at it) plus I'd probably need to cosplay as men, because I feel bashful and embarrassed if I don't feel covered up enough. Maybe, someday!
