Thanks so far guys, I'll check out your sets!

Does Usukane gear EVER have a place anymore? (guessing not, but I sat on that gear so long before I could use it!)
Usu body in evasion!

Athos's Tabard, not Usukane Haramaki.

I parse mostly for my own satisfaction so I can see how my attack, acc, and such is doing so I know if I need to adjust gear sets. So many times have I seen relic/emp DD with 50% or less acc and doing lower single digit overall DD%. I asked a Rag DRK what atmacites he was using because I was how low his DD was and wanted to help him out, and his reply was "where do I get those?"

STR+5 AGI+5 Accuracy+10 "Regain"+3
HP+10% All attributes +15 Accuracy+5 Haste+5%
MND+5 "Subtle Blow"+10 TP Bonus +50 Haste +3%
HP+5% STR+5 INT+15 "Double Attack"+3%

no combination of those 3 atma's will cause a melee's accuracy to spike to 90+% from 50%, nor will it cause their WS damage to spike either. Sounds more like someone doesnt have Stalwarts...

The sad thing is the VW shouts of "emp/relic mandatory" because someone with an emp/relic means theyre good at their job.

Assuming max augments, and fighting trash mobs (nin's main function) these sets come out ahead of everything posted so far via Moten's latest mathy sheets:

I see you're using kote over tenryu +1, what are the augments on them?

Been wondering something.

Koga +2 legs obiviously are great, with the 7%Dw. Yet, wouldnt augmented Shura Haidate+1 be better ? (Assumin the perfect augments, 6% dw, +6 accu and i dont know, let's say enmity or str as a possible 3rd stat)

7% dw + 12 eva VS 6% dw + 14 accu + 6 str (and possible 3rd augment)

Fodder mobs:
Have Iga head+2, Ninja Chainmail, Koga Tekko+2, Koga legs+2, AF feet+2

Which is best belt with only Haste spell as other haste; 5% DW or Twilight Belt?

Patentia should be better with only Haste as Spell. If I recall the only time Twilight begins winning is with March II + Haste and beyond, until delay reduction capped, then something like Windbuffet.

If it's 5% alone ie Nusku's then go with Twilight, if it's Patentia then the above is correct.

Yeah, I didn't want to say "5% DW". Since that could imply Nusku's as well.

This

Should be every serious nin's aim. The -1 hexed gear is going to cost you 20m + per piece, but you get what you pay for. HQ augs are a must aswell.

Too many gimps running around with GGG HQ prizes with NQ augments.

Yeah it would be great, if any of that hexed -1 even existed on Quetz. >.<

Yeah, that's pretty unrealistic. Khepri body and Tenryu +1 legs in particular basically don't exist outside of bonanza winners due to the high skill level and scarcity of mats. Nice to aim for if you're actually hardcore about NIN in 2012, but even those who try to optimize their NIN gear are going to have a hell of a time obtaining those sets.

Here's my ninja sets if you want them.

TP

Blade:Jin

I only use Nin for abyssea.
Atmas - apocalypse, razed ruins, sanguine scythe

I only spent the money on Oce +1 and Ghillie +1 because I use them for thf, blu, dnc, and mnk.

P.S. dat swap for koga legs is a MUST if you are mithra lol

Patentia is better, Nuskus is worse? Just because of the STP?

Pretty easy to see 8 Attk and 5 STP is better than nothing (compared to Nusku's).

I wasn't comparing it nuskus. 8 attack is negligible, note I said fodder mobs and the stp would have to save a round to make it relevant surely?

For those who cannot obtain any NNI gear. What would be the recommended body to use in your TP set? Af3+2 still viable or is it now a WS piece at best?

AF3+2 was never used as just a standard TP body without buffs, Ninja Chainmail is your best bet.

Situationally, it does, but generally Chainmail makes you hit faster than Byrnie so it's still the best for low-level targets. On high eva/def targets Iga Ningi+2 will destroy the Byrnie. The Byrnie's alright, but given how elusive it can be it's not really worth the headache just for a sidegrade. Besides, Chainmail looks way cooler anyway!

Euxine Coat +3 beats Chainmail though, so if you're in NNI group that can reach floor 80 you're in luck, heh.
