Blu Spells

starting to think these demons here in xarcabard (s) dont use quadrastrike anyone can confirm u can learn it here or dont they even use it?

Demons in Dynamis, or some NM Demons in the Castle use it. Normal ones don't.

Find a Demon WAR by the S TE statue (Dyna Xarc). It will do Quadrastrike. Took me 5 mins from there.

i dont have dyna xbard :( is the spell any good outside aby? what are the numbers its putting out, compared to QC?

Barbed Crescent fomors Segann(NM) if your around night time going to get it in the Aqueducts might want to stop by him in Lufaise Meadow (f-8) he only does that move repeatedly almost a guarantee you will learn the move.

Quadrastrike i actually farmed up the NM Marquis Sabnock to get that spell while i wont recommend doing that i learned it after seeing it 20 times since he only does that move repeatedly. if you dont have Dyna-Xacarbar thats pretty much your only option

Thunder breath- Bualar or the Demon beastmaster pets in Dyna-Xacarbar pretty much your doing Steam Cleaner method.

Havn't messed around with Amorphic spikes with str gear yet, but Quadrastrike is doing roughly 5-6k in my QC set.
Not to mention Amorphic spikes closing darkness off of CDC.
Might've made benthic redundant too if it wernt for the Defense down on it.

Benthic is also nice for taking out multiple fodder mobs. I like to have whirl, empty thrash and benthic for doing that kinda thing. I'd love to be able to completely replace benthic though... Carrying an AGI set really hurts my space.

To be fair... Gates of Hades does a nice job with that sorta thing too, I've been getting about 2k damage with BA on.

just wanted to point out something about Orcish Counterstance, when you counter with O. Counterstance up, your counter atk hits deal around double damage, I took it off an countered almost everytime for around 100 dmg, put O.C back up and my counter hits were doing 280 to 320, so someone might want to test that, might be worth subbing mnk if it stacks with MNKs counterstance and atma etc, if it deals double dmg

It stacks with Counterstance, I don't think the exact damage boost has been quantified though.

yea it seems kind of random, I tried it with just counterstance from /mnk an was doing same dmg as normal melee hits , but when O. counterstance was on I would counter for 300-400 instead of 100-200, I tried testing if crit hit dmg helped but didnt seem like it

Seems about right back when I did campaign I would kill myself on NM orcs using that ***on dnc fast attacking multi-hits ftl lol..

so with the new spells in the list and newER ones seemingly far into the future, what do people's spell list look like? Having an interesting time of finding the combo of spells that pack the punch I want but also keep the job traits I like.

Does anyone have a full list of the new spells with mods. Having a very hard time trying to justify keeping my full AGI set when there is nothing I really use it atm. Really hoping Barbed crescent isnt agi.

There are no other AGI spells so really it's just for benthic. So if you don't use benthic that much, then you can at least satchel the gear.
