vapor spray is off sharks in sea
gates of hades should be pretty self explanatory
thunder breath i got off of balur in kon. abyssea can be duo or solo'd very easily
tourbillion is off Khimaira type mobs i found doing nyzle got me a couple dif hnm spells easily
a spikes off flans in kon abyssea do it while your farming balour on the in between pops
pyric bulwark i got off Ningishzida in grauberg aby
b cresenct is off former type mobs i did mine in the aqueducts
bilgestorm is off dvergr type mobs so do them
blood drake i got in Bostaunieux Oubliette
and wind breath can be done on rift drgs in attowa abby

the link roi put up is pretty decent but has mobs listed for new spells that dont do them and some camps listed wrong but yeah it's decently accurate to get you through all your blu spells and updated fast as new spells appear.

so of the new spells which of the physical one is uber strong {best} is quad contium no longer our strongest?

I've not really gotten time to test but based on what I've heard from the various people who test this kinda thing, Amorphic spikes is pretty close to or better than quad(Edit: Quad meaning quadratic... Why do you have to add spells that share abbreviations SE!) and it chains with Chant for an extra bonus.

I've heard it said that Bloodrake is incredibly good but I've only gotten to use it twice since I learned it way past when I should have been asleep last night.

Quadrastrike is apparently badass in abyssea because crit damage atmas affect it. I've had conflicting information on if crit rate is affected by other sources than TP(and by extension efflux).

no, Lord Varney does not use Blood Rake(as far as i know at least)

I had thought so, as long as there isn't any competition or the people who do get it are just learning but if an empy group is after it they won't care to let you leave it alive for extra time to get him to use it.

I learned it from wurdelaks in Bostaunieux Oubliette. There are 5-6 spawns down there but some of the spawns seem to share spawns with other mobs so at times there can only be 2 up. It's not a "Great" learning location but considering it's one of the only two places you can find these guys in non-NM form there really isn't much better.

I'm not sure if it's actually a mob behavioral thing or just chance but many people seem to agree that vamps tend to use it while relativity high on hp which seems HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE to me but the only times I saw it was 60% and higher so it could be true but my sample size is woefully small. The first dozen I fought, I chanted their faces in to get them below 25% and then switched to clubs to feed tp and they never used it. /shrug.

I thought he did but I've got no proof of that.

Where's the other non-NM versions? o_O

Also,I didnt even know there were non-NM versions at all,or that they had them under sandy!

Castle Z. Keep (s) has lv90ish vamps from WoTG era~ only other place with NQs, and its worse then aquaducts lol.

We did the vamps in Keep, easy mobs but went an hour without seeing them use the WS once so we concluded they didn't use. Lord Varney 100% does not use as well. So Bost. is best location by far.

As far as I can tell, the vampyres were *intended* to use it at <25% hps, but they set it to only use at like >75% hps (or <50% >50%, idk).

We spent hours in Castle Z fighting them down to 25% and then holding them and they *never* used it. We switched to just beating on them with warp clubs and they always used around 90%.

Now to figure out where to get Tourbillion from. :I

Yes and yes.
You get TH by setting all three gilfinder spells.
Charged Whisker, Evryone. Grudge and Amorphic Spikes
And it does not stack. No traits ever stack with other traits. Only the highest trait level is active.

I tried demons in Xarcabard (S) and Zvahl (S) and even in Uleguerand Range, none of them wanted to use it. I eventually went to Dynamis-Xarcabard to get it. I also tried to get Thunder Breath from Kindred's Vouivres while I was there, but they didn't wanna use it. Ended up teaming up with some other BLUs and got it from Balaur in Konschtat (A).

And yeah, I got Bloodrake really easy from the Varkolaks in Zvahl Keep (S). First one I fought used it as his first TP move, and I learned it. :P They're only level 86, much easier than the Wurdalaks in Bostaunieux, which are 95-99. Though, of course, more travel time.

Any sets made for the new spells yet?
Amorphic spikes in particular, should I be stacking pure DEX or throw int in there aswell?

Roughly 20% DEX/INT according to Prothescar's testing, so STR is going to be your best bet as base stats go and additional DEX or INT would be a bonus in that slot.

I've got this set made up then, any thoughts?
str +6 on the feet, debating if I should be using ire/heafoc due to it being 5 hits, however.
That being said, it's not that much different than my Mathproblem set.

Athos's gloves and kacura leggings +1 eventually. Might be time to trade in the Warwolf Belt for pipilaka belt if the new spells phase out use of QC further.

any numbers on amorph spike??' ive been playing with it inside abys and cant break 3k dmg (since i allways use it with 0 tp since is for SC with cdc).... so im thinking ill just stick with sneak atack + benthic for dark SC.... but wanted to know the numbers of other ppls
