Well basically, im fine on sets for NMs of medium-high def or lower, but on VW my damage takes an asskicking.
Would anyone please be kind enough to suggest a decent/ideal set for top tier VW such as pil, kaggen or qulin please?

Ideally would like Draylo's input as I remember him mention landing 1500 CDCs on VW and this makes my 800~1000 embarrassed.

Considering BLU can't wear half of that gear, it doesn't help him much.
Overall 800~1k isn't bad considering the targets. I don't think it's possible to average 1.5k CDCs on them when even WARs have a bit of trouble making marks around there.
Likely your best bet for outside of abyssea CDC. I might be missing a pair of pants or something somewhere, but I don't think so.

Our ls ukkos war lands 1400~2.5 depending on DA procs and exactly which NM we're talking, but thats beside the topic~

How would alcide's leggings +1 fare to lithe?
Any other body options such as the +1 harness? Tocis is a goal but pil doesnt wanna yield atm.

Ocelomeh +1 body is fine as a substitute for Toci's, but Loki's may be better without the ATK boost that Toci's has over Oce+1. Lithe should be better than Alcide +1s by a tiny amount.

Wouldn't attack a bit more important on VWNMs? Since it's pretty hard to crit on high lv NMs like VW due to lv and stat difference. Wouldn't Alcd. Leggings +1/Anguinus belt/Aesir ear pendant(replace brutal but keep moonshade)/SJ WAR/red curry help a bit with dmg?
Not sure if Rancor collar is worth using on VW either.
Also another day I was doing Pil and WAR was doing 2.5k average Ukko on it, and spikes for 4.8k. I think it's quite possible to average 1.5k CDC if you just keep focusing on attack.

alucinor mitts should be a tad above Alcide's +1 in addition to inventory +1. Perfect Blood Greaves (STR+4~5 in addition to the skill+) would beat Lithe but have fun trying to get those.
4~5 STR... still needa bit more atk and acc to offset Alcide's +1
3.5-4 attack vs 1-1.25 fSTR and ~0.5 WSC? It might depend on getting that WSC, I'd have to check again. It's close either way though. Obviously if accuracy is an issue Alcide's +1 hands/feet would be the way to go.

Blood Greaves have DEX+4 AGI+4 and some resist ***as base stats, I have absolutely no reason to keep Lithe or Mederi if I get a pair with STR+4~5 and Blue Magic skill+5.
Ah, augmented blood has blu skill not sword skill. The discussion lead me to believe it was sword skill. Well, is that str from the random pool of augments? If so... f that.
Yeah, STR is random pool sadly. I'm still working on them, I'd love to think we'll get better physical feet in the near future but not holding my breath.
Considering the trouble augmenting has given me, I'm not going to shoot for perfect augments when one requires a random pool. I'm pretty ocd but not quite that much.

No one's posted anything for BLU CDC in a long while and there's a lot of better gear available now. SO nitpick all you want on the offhand slot and be blind to the forest by focusing on the one tree so to speak.
The sets posted are based off what I have/ use/want. Obviously stick a STR SHAMSIR (99 name?) in that slot if you have it. That said, legit criticsm as to other slots/ suggestions/ input welcome.
