Which Mdt/mdb Katana?

I was wondering if Narigitsune or the MDB magian katana would provide more magic defense? Not familiar with the potency of MDB compared to MDT, my apologies if this is a silly question.

By my understanding, MDT caps at -50 which like with maxed out shellra v, you only need like 33% MDT in gear to be at cap, but MDB adds to the MDT you already have, essentially letting you go beyond cap of normal 50 by some amount... There was a thread around here somewhere that had the MDB trait maths on it. Think it was an Aegis thread pertaining to overcapping MDT with Aegis on.

M.Eva Katana is also worth it in the right situation like if you're stacking elemental resist, but that trial path takes longer than getting a 90 kannagi.
