+MP gear has never had a use besides latents and having enough MP to raise as brd/whm while weakened. Also random *** gear, some nuking gear, some enhancing gear, some potency gear, rest mp gear..just makes no sense at all. Would always lol @ mages I saw wearing crap like that.

Jet seraweels were also a horrible waste of gil, mahatma were better and cheaper, errant were just as good and like 5k gil vs 300k+.

That was 2 maybe 3 years ago...
I liked jet seraweels for the look and I can pretty much say that I had no *** clue of what I was doing at that time.

Oh and I would like to specify that I didn't had gil either and all those stuff was camped/obtained in BCs or gotten with ls when no1 else wanted them -_-.

Pretty sure that you weren't even playing at that time.

Ninja edit: also, as far as I remember rdm only had 2 piece of refresh af2 head and dalmy/morrigan.At that time, if you had those you were pretty much either

1.Very *** lucky
2.In a veryvery good ls
3.Extreamly rich
4.Have been playing for a long time.

Oh btw, that lance i was using was a low delay lance. Loved to do that in brenner, low delay, so i was reaping shadows fast with help of the wyvern, and could land jumps and drakes penta thrust them to death.

I still used jet back then and just augmented with INT and MND. way the hell better than shitty mahatma plus they looked way better

for a blm you would have

DEF: 39 STR -6 DEX -6 VIT -6 AGI -6
INT +8 MND +8 CHR +8 Enmity -4

vs

DEF: 34 MP +15 INT +8 MND +8 Enmity -4
(I had ice resist +5 too but not worth listing)

yeah, real tough choice lol
Too bad for most people, that was like 150 failed augment tries before getting something worthwhile. Synergy doesn't count, these builds are from before you had the ability to only keep good augments on your gear. (A couple -INT weskits come to mind)
