I don't know how I missed this information over the past 6 months; I guess I wasn't paying much mind to crafting.

So, I've been reading/hearing rumors that you can bump native 100 crafting skill up to a theoretical "level 110" now. I was curious how this is achieved?

Starting with the obvious stuff:
+3 Advanced guild support
+1 Magnifying Specs.
+1 Weaver's Apron
+1 Gilt Tapestry

That gives us the "classic" 100+6 skill.

So, where exactly is the other +4 skill coming from these days?

Weaver's Sign?
Weavers' Stall?
Spinning Wheel?
Weaver's Smock?
something else?

Thanks for any info.

Apparently the stalls give "Mega Mogification" which gives the skill +4 vs the signs giving +1.
EDIT: i stand corrected

no mega moglicfication gives alone +2, u get the extra +3 for having the other 2 GP items (150/200k pt) in combo with the stall. in ur case its the weaver stall, weaver sign and Gilt Tapestry. this gives u +5, +3 from adv. help, +1 smock/apron, +1 glasses, aka +10

Thanks, Saboro!

So, does it break down like this?:

Weavers' Stall +1
Weaver's Sign +1
Gilt Tapestry +1
"Mega Moglification" (Stall + Sign, or Stall + Spinning Wheel) +2?

I remember this from a previous topic.

Post #602 there has great info. Overall the sample size is ample enough to be pretty definitive. 150k item + 200k item + stall = +5 skill.

I think the testing starts several pages back on that link, but you can dig through it lol.

but anyways think of it more like this with all 3:
mega moglification +2
stall +1
sign +1
gilt +1
= +5
with the stall alone u will only get +2, u have to have at least 1 more piece to add be +3 or +4 (varies which gp item u have in combo with the stall) testing suggests the 150gp + stall is +3, while the latter is +4, but this hasnt been totally confirmed, just the +5 with all 3 has been verified

It's crafted from the 15k Guild Point item (emblem) via synergy.

Stalls are synergy crafted and one of the ingredients are a guild point purchased item; in your case a weavers emblem. It's a pretty high synergy level to craft but if you are fast, you can make it even at level 0.

Just checked, it's an earth synth so you will get slow enfeebs on you when it overloads so you'll waste some time erasing yourself before you can continue to synth. I got lucky with a wind synth for my culinarians stall and it took me about 20-30 tries to make it from 0 skill.

If not, grab a friend or someone to help who's high level.

After you get it, put it in your mog house furnishings and make sure its the highest elemental value -- Mega Moglification!

The stalls are level 80 cap Synergy recipes. I just made the Culinarians' Stall (and got my skill to 80). One of the mats is a guild point item for 15k.

Added it to my layout and got Mega Moglification: Cooking. I don't have the Guild Sign or the Cordon Bleu set. I do have a bookshelf, egg buffet and mannequin though.

I think the Break Down of the item doesn't make any sense. Can you guys please verify if you guys didn't make a mistake?

Here's my Breakdown of CC 110

Adv. Support +3
Glasses +1
Apron +1
Weaver's Stall +2
Gilt Tapestry +1
Spinning Wheel +1
Sign +1

That's total of 10

Am I wrong?

From what I understand, after talking with "Zouri" over at BlueGartr forums, the Spinning Wheel doesn't add more Skill if you already have the Weaver's Stall. Supposedly, its use is for non-Clothcrafters when they're doing a recipe that has Clothcraft as a secondary or sub craft.

Thus (although this isn't 100% certain):

Adv. Guild Support +3
Glasses +1
Apron +1
"Mega Moglification" from Stall +3
Gilt Tapestry +1
Signboard +1

The 150k item or the 200k item by itself will give you Moghancement: Craft which is +1 skill.

Both the 150k item and the 200k item together will give you Moglification: Craft. Not sure if this is +2 or +3. Wiki doesn't say.

The Stall combined with those 2 items will give you Mega-Moglifitcation: Craft which is apparently +5 skill.

With Advanced Support (+3) and the 2 +1 items, it's +10.

99% Sure Moglification: Craft was tested to still only be +1 before they added mega-moglification, so it should still be +1 now.

Correct, Altar. Bojack's post here is erroneous.

Normal/old Moglification (150k GP item + 200k GP item, no Stall) only grants +1 skill. This is no different (with regard to skill) than having only the 150k GP item alone. The only additional benefit of Moglification is reduced rate of materials lost when you break a synthesis.

As I stated above, I'm fairly certain (based on respected sources over @ BG forums) that:

Mega-Moglification, achieved by any combination of furnishings that grant the Key Item = +3 skill.
Mega-Moglification, achieved by combining the Stall + 150k GP item = +4 skill.
Mega-Moglification, achieved by combining the Stall + 200k GP item = +4 skill.
Mega-Moglification, achieved by combining the Stall + 150k GP item + 200k GP item = +5 skill.

Unless anyone has data that refutes this, in which case, please share.

This makes me curious, by this token of logic for Fishing explicitly how much skill would

Mega-Moglification, Fishermen's stall + fisherman's signboard + fishing hole map + stuffed "big one" + net and lure grant?

(yeah I know this is the clothcraft forum but the bump to the front page made me look!)

I remember reading somewhere that either the gilt tapestry or the weaver's signboard didn't actually give skill, but allowed you to get skill from the other GP furnishings, and that the stall gave +3.

Support +3
Glasses +1
Body +1
Stall +3
Sign ----
tapestry +1
Spinning wheel +1

200k items (signboards) have no bearing on total skill obtained, they don't give any.
I have leathercraft 100 with stall, stretcher (50k) and golden fleece (150k).
I've synthed a lottt of dusk gloves+1 (leather 99) requiring 110 skill for T1 by no means have i fluked out 40+ T0 synths.

This directly conflicts the research done by Zouri, which showed the Hide Stretcher (50k GP item) did NOT stack (add more skill) when you already possess the Mega-Moglification Key Item from the Stall + 150k GP item + 200k GP item.

Perhaps more research is needed, but for now, I'm going to "side" with Zouri's work. I'm fairly certain she's synthed (way) more than 40 Dusk Gloves+1, and done a asston of other more menial synths to verify her numbers.
