I looked around as much as I could and wanted to know before I bought online. If not I will go out and buy the actual copy of the game.

The buddy pass is a Real account which mean if you have a account that using a buddy pass "Code" that the same as buying the full game. The CE version came with two codes and one is the buddy pass which is a full real account.
