/war was easy peasy for the bugard to get his KI. If you know how to cycle shadows and put on evasion when needed, there is no reason to worry about death before you stagger it.

Do not read that you will never get hit from that statement, just that you should have enough HP to get clue, stagger, kill and have an easy 80%+ Hp left.

I solo'd most of my KIs for my sobek trials on nin/war, and never needed special atmas. The NMs are all pushovers.

Never farm KI as /dnc. You limit your procs from potentially 11 to 5. If you can't do it /war /pld then you need to do a bit more research on the NMs. If you still can not live w/o stun /drk will give you access to 3 more red ws.

To OP, I soloed probably 40helms except maybe 10 that i got randomly duoing with a war friend. I nin/dnc everytime, KI's have a fairly high drop% w/o red on all the nm's but sometimes you have to do them 2-3 times. If you are looking for more procs i'd suggest subbing drk if you have it (get sword and 1 more ws i think with the addition of stun) Pantagruel and Grandgousier can be a real *** w/o a form of stun.

It really wasnt that hard just a lil more time consuming so i hope that helps you in your choice of gold farming or nm killing.

If you are going to solo go /Dnc. You may not need to stun BUT if he 2 hours ya and you run for it and kite him you risk 2 bad things happening: 1st he turns yellow and some jerk runs up and vokes it 2nd he hits ya with his 2 hour and you dies then some jerk vokes it, lol.

/Dnc wont hurt drops too much I solo'd most of mine.

it's really not necessary with MC atma and all the healing temps. I did all my Briareus solos /thf.

It's really not hard to keep him red when he 2 hours. You only run as much as necessary; try it a couple times and you'll get the hang of it really fast.

and by "all the healing temps" I mean the ones you get from the NPC.

also I used Myoshu to minimize his TP gain.

How does Stun help on Pantagruel anyway? 90% of the time he Ice Roars again a few seconds after Stun wears anyway. Grandgousier seems to lose his TP on a stunned roar (Or maybe he just doesn't use his TP as often), but not Pantagruel.

With pops in hand already /dnc all the way.
you do lose a few red proc's

But Bri time, /dnc is a very nifty thing to have, can save u a ton of face.

Honestly, I don't know how people can need /DNC for Briareus.
