Has anyone Brewed on nin and mijin to kill it off?

It doesn't do very much. When I used it I only got like 5,000 DMG out of it... Not even enough to 1-shot a tiger in the range.
I heard brew stays on if you die and reraise, anyone know if that's true? There's really not much that can kill you while you have brew on though.

Ya if brew stuck you'd get up with half of your max hp after mijin which would put you at 5k hp not 9999 and no weakness. If you could do that, it would be epic in tight situations.

yea, wears off at death. guy who finished Kannagi the other night found out the hard way. we popped the last sobek we had, and after the third Blade: Hi, Sobek said *** YO COUCH and hit him with a K.O. Tyrant Tusk

I'm guessing it was some form of last huzzah being finished with an 85 empy, getting revenge on the mob he had to kill 30+ times. I sure hope they didn't brew it on a regular basis.

exactly. we had one last pop set so we traded and the Kannagi went boom. FYI, HI -> HI = darkness SC.
we woulda been done with it the night before, but we had 3 other groups competing for Guk, so we were sitting on 5-6 pop sets @ 2/3.
