Can you make it so that the Leader of a LS has the ability to kick ppl our of their LS list. Bringerofthedawn is listed as having 65 members and 1/2 of them aren't in my LS.

Yeah, I agree as well. Most of the peeps on our page don't even play anymore. Maybe differentiate between pearls and sacks as well?

That'd be really cool too.

Would probably be best if sack/pearl differentiations were set by the leader, manually, since there seems to be problems gleaning the leader info off of the Linkshell Community.

So, any word on making this happen. It's so easy for people to pull up your ls and see "members." The problem is some people are listed that we may not want listed. Either cause they got banned or left the shell or just plain suck and your shell doesn't want to be associated with them.

That's what the Linkshell Password is for.

I'm failing to see how you use this to remove people from your linkshell list. Say you were in my linkshell, you stole our ls bank and started your own ls. Everyone on the server knows you as a POS, now how do I get you off my LS list?

Sorry, but you have to suffer for letting them have the LS bank in the first place.

I, too, would like to know how to get asshats off my linkshell listing. I've sent PMs, but not all play anymore.

I see they added the ability to delete comments off of screenshots. I would think that this function would be very similar.

I know of several shells that have broken and the linkshell community has been removed from SE's site already but are still listed as well. We need a few more controls on ffxiah.

The linkshells that continue to show up on ffxiah is because the person is still registered on the LS Community website under the linkshell. So it will continue to show them under the linkshell until they manually unregister themself off of the linkshell.

However I am unsure if the LS Shell holder (not sackholder) unregisters the entire ls or just themself on the ls community website which would have to have every member unregister off the ls community site manually.

I'm saying the ls community website already says that linkshell no longer exists.

To be honest it's not that hard.

I'm sure they are accessing the Linkshell community database. Just need to find the field that flags ppl as the leader than create an if statement. In CF it would be something like
<cfif leader="#name#">
Blah Blah Blah Edit/Delete member button
<cfelse>
Blah Blah Blah
</cfif>

Notice there isn't a delete button if they aren't the leader. Of course this is the simplest answer and you would want checks to keep ppl from altering the source code.

In it's simplest form. I do pretty much everything in coldfusion.

btw, they added this function. You can access it thru your member menu.
