Was just wondering what you would think it would take to 6man or less kirin. Have some friends who want Wlegs and thought we might have the option. Any ideas would be helpful

Very straight forward fight, could do it at 75 too give or take bad luck.

RDM/NIN kites Kirin.
PLD/RDM/DDs/BLMs kill the summons, then do a job change for Kirin. Done it with 5 at 80, haven't since new cap.

Rdms can in theory >.> I would say they definitely better be skill capped @ 85 with appropriate gear and merits ..

if 6 rdms who are "85" but skilled at "75" (ty abssyea burning) tushies will be kicked!

6x RDM/NIN can do it no problem.

Hell, I bet with that many RDMs, Saboteur Slow II and Para II together would make it so that they could downright melee kill the gods if they wanted to >_>

Unfortunately, the gods still do not cooperate in landing certain.. enfeebles. (You aren't landing Slow on Seiryu no matter how much m.acc you stack. 5% chance is 5% chance..)

I've also come to the biased conclusion that Sabbing Para2 is a waste of Saboteur. The benefit of Slow is noticeable and massive, the benefit of Para2 is not. (Especially when it wears off in 20seconds. -_-)
Sab Poison2, kill stuff faster!

EDIT: Pretty sure you can kill Suzy melee style. He's pretty weak these days compared to the rest. <_<

Long as nobody SIlences suzaku before Chainspell, Yes. The pseud-gods are weaker than abyssea XP mobs, minus the 2-hr ability. Ironically, the God that will likely give the most headache, is Genubu, because by the time he walks his fatass over to you, another summon is otw.

Some friends and I attempted Kirin with 6.
RDM WHM BRD NIN RNG PLD

We killed all minis and what not. After a few hours of attempting we decided to just team up with a group cause of course a LS shows up to kill Kirin after a few hours of trying to kill him. (Who really 18 mans Kirin anymore lord.) One of their LS members was there for 2 hours watching US do Kirin and he failed to mention to them we were doing it. Apparently they planned on stealing it or something. We managed to get it to about 90ish% with just RNG as our only "real" DD. It could take a few hours but could be easily done if you have the right set up. We plan on trying again with the same set up and once Kirin is by itself having the NIN/PLD change to SMN and hopefully some LS won't show up this time.

Btw Addle is amazing on him. It makes his cast-time even more of a joke then what it already is.

Also, If Genbu pops first you will most-likely wipe or face fighting 5 mobs at once unless you manage to kill him fast enough. Yes lolGenbu but he's the most pain out of all of them. Suzaku's Chainspell barely did much, neither did Seiryu's Hundred Fists.

We did this with 7 at 75 (1 was a dboxed mage) very easily.
If Genbu pops just have 1 person kite it around if another summons pops.
Rng/nin can be especially helpful as your DD, and short term kiter if something goes slightly wrong.
1 kiter on kirin
1 mage to keep eye on kiter (rdm)
1 summons puller (rng DD) (rng useful for 2 hours safety as well)
Lots of little details for safety @ 75(6 man) but easy to figure out if you have Kirin exp.
@85 it'll just be that much easier.
Pld/nin Rng/nin X2 Rdm Sam Blm (whm dbox was unnecessary)
Hmmm TH4 mule was logged on at 1%, but again wasn't used for the fight and not necessary for kill. (only 6 used for actual fight)

4 DD/SAM BRD SMN can do it zerg style as well, though you need really well geared DDs to pull it off. I would add a THF in for TH though.

I think this would be overkill. 1 kites Kirin, 5 rape nuke the NMs that pop, then they rest up and get to working on Kirin, with full MP and vert ready. Maybe change jobs to BLMs, but I don't think that'd be necessary.

If for some odd reason you don't kill one of the NMs by the time another pops, kite the newly popped NM while the other 4 RDMs finish off the last NM.

Our group has been spamming Kirin recently. Shiala recorded a bunch of them on her youtube channel if you'd care to watch. As you can see, Alexander's perfect defense makes zerging quick and painless.

Would the RDM/NIN need movement speed? looking to fight Kirin tonight. any chance it can be done with just 3 people? last two times i went the kiters got destroyed, once a THF once a SAM. I'm sure a PLD could hold it forever, but any recommendations for the 95 cap? I don't have an army at my disposal or anything :/

My typical strat, Skadoosh, was SMN, WAR, MNK, SAM. Perfect Defense. 2hr.

All DDs had Emps though, and without a BRD, it required 2hrs.
